Niger Submits Formal Request To Exit The ICC
Niger has become the 3rd country in the world to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Alliance of Sahel States (AES) member submitted its formal request to the Hague-based institution on June 22, 2026.
The ICC, which markets itself as an “independent” body, has been repeatedly accused by African nations of disproportionately targeting the continent in its prosecutions. Niger and its fellow AES members, for their part, have directly called out the organization as a tool of Western imperialism, and Niger’s exit from the ICC marks the latest step in the country’s march to true sovereignty.
Former South African FM Calls Out The West’s Double Standard On International Law
Naledi Pandor has a point.
Back in 2022, the South African former foreign minister argued at a Council on Foreign Relations event that international law must be applied equally, not according to Western interests. At the time, Russia’s “special military operation” in Ukraine was on people’s minds. Liberals in the West flaunted Ukrainian flags on their homes while ignoring that the US-led NATO had provoked the war over many years.
Yet, when Israel invaded Gaza, flattened its cities, put its hospitals out of service, and k*lled thousands of women and children, international law didn’t hold the same weight. The West has continued to arm and fund its ally, Israel, and permitted it to ignore International Court of Justice rulings to end its att*cks, its occupation and its ap*rtheid against Palestinians.
When will international law ever really matter? Drop us a comment if you’ve got an idea.

Global politics is a game of power, prove your strength and you'll have you way. If you show weakness, you'll be oppressed and plundered just as they are doing to Africa.
@Piss_Floyd@RupertLowe10 Because to start with, white countries destabilized their countries by funding insurgencies and making policies that do not benefitsl these countries in any way ,steal and loot their resources. So yeah, let's talk about the root of the problem first.
In 🇺🇸USA, Elon musk, Sam Altman, Tim cook, Peter Thiel, are the real celebrities.
While they push Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, P-Diddy on the Black community
In 🇨🇳China, Jack ma, David Wang of Huawei, Wang chang Fu of BYD, etc are the real celebrities

These people take to the stage every 6 months to unveil technological achievement, visions or plans they're working on.
In Africa, because we don't control the Algorithm. Guess what we get as celebrities?
Olodo Uprising!!!
And to make matters worse, We have "Billionaires" who don't even have good explanation for their wealth not to talk of unveiling any improvement except an cover disguised as "Philanthropy"
Ibrahim Traoré Tackles Corruption & Health Care in Burkina Faso
The Popular Revolution in Burkina Faso continues to bear fruit, as the West continues its desperate slander campaign against the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) member nation. Under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the country has curtailed corruption with the dismissal, on June 18, 2026, of two senior police officers who embezzled substantial public funds, and boosted its health sector with the simultaneous inauguration, on June 20th, of 67 new health centers, which will give 150,000 more Burkinabé citizens better access to health care.
These developments stand as the latest testament to Africa’s real problem. Under previous, Western-aligned administrations, Burkina Faso never experienced half the progress it has experienced over the last 4 years, under its current leadership.
For the rest of Africa, the choice of which example to follow should be obvious.
This is a variant of fisherman soup, with banga and atama leaves.
The catfish has to be strictly from the sea, preferably saltwater, not reared catfish.
The day I ate this variant, my soul left me, sang hallelujah & returned.
Akwa Ibom delicacies mehn 😍
@Wizarab10 For those of you defending America in hopes that you will get a US visa ,you wont be treated any differently from the iranian team...if anything even worse.
@AnyanwuMalachy@Prymefactor If your organization had a good structure your colleague would have been sacked for sending the security out of his duty post.
"It's not that deep" but you are here crying about it. Such a shallow.minded being. You have your brains under your feet.
Let me tell you how it happened. Nigeria’s ginger export hit zero from N26 billion within 3 years.
The official story blames fungal blight.
But here is what actually happened. When Nigerian farmers lost their indigenous seed supply, grant-aided interventions arrived with replacement seeds.
An associate professor at Lagos Business School flagged publicly that some of those interventions involved GMO organisms that weakened indigenous crops and compromised soil health.
That is not a conspiracy theory because it is a documented academic concern.
Now that Nigeria spoke got destroyed by the GMO seedlings….what is not the result?
Nigeria was forced to import ginger from China to fill domestic demand. Chinese ginger has none of the pungency, oleoresin content, or quality that made Nigerian ginger a global premium product. And the ginger now sitting in Nigerian markets tastes like wood because it essentially is wood.
The two indigenous varieties that built Nigeria’s global ginger reputation, the Tafin Giwa and Yatsun Biri, had decades of soil relationship and quality built into them.
Once the soil was degraded and those seed varieties were displaced, the product that returned was a pale imitation. Nigeria did not just lose a market. It lost a seed. And without a National Ginger Seed Bank, which nobody has built, it may never fully get it back.
When people in a country full of potential become lazy, it creates opportunities for hardworking people from places with fewer opportunities to migrate and fill those gaps. Then the lazy ones get comfortable because someone else is doing the work for them. But one thing lazy people will always do is blame others for what they allowed themselves to become
CHINA JUST DREW A LINE ON AI
A court in China has ruled it ILLEGAL to replace human workers with AI purely to cut costs.
They have put responsibility back on corporations.
They can’t automate just to boost margins while workers are pushed out.
China has decided that wages, fairness, and employment aren’t optional.
And that’s a big shift.
While the west races to replace labour as fast as possible, viewing AI as a free-for-all… China has set a precedent that profit alone isn’t enough and corporations must answer to society.
