Four years ago, at the 2022 APC National Convention, the stakes were high. Alliances were shifting, interests were clashing, and power was being tested.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, known for his political strategy, had a preferred candidate for National Chairman. But the dynamics didn’t go his way.

He lost that round. And instead of causing division, he accepted the outcome calmly. No crisis, no public outburst. Just patience.

At a point, his influence was questioned. He was sidelined from key party discussions. A former Governor even said there was no position of ‘National Leader’ in the APC constitution , a clear attempt to diminish his role.

But here is what they underestimated; political memory, structure, and patience. Because while the noise was loud, the groundwork never stopped.

That same man they tried to edge out is now the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

I just saw the lifeless body of a dispatch rider lying by the pavement on the road. Apparently, a car knocked him down and fled the scene. Area boys opened his dispatch box,took everything inside and took his phone.People stood there and watched him bleed out to death because no hospital will admit him without a police report or any form of ID. Where is humanity?💔He was just trying to make an honest living!
