I come from survivors. my grandmother was born in Karabagh (Artsakh), my grandfathers in Musa Ler. these places are occupied, erased, & fought over to this day.

representing Armenian identity openly, especially on television, is extremely important to me. I wear my history & culture unapologetically.

why do we continue to talk about the Armenian Genocide? because it echoes what we Armenians still face today.

had my great grandparents not escaped / survived, I simply would not exist.
