@inDrive Hi indrive
I forgot my belongings(my bag containing my phone and my purse containing money and all my ATM cards and ID cards.
My colleagues and I came to lagos from Ibadan for a meeting.
I was in a hurry and angry with the driver for not dropping us off at our expected location and had to come down with my colleagues to start trekking to go and find the location so as not to get there late for my meeting that's why I forgot my bag inside his car.

Continuous integration of the HelpMum Vaccination tracker into six primary health centers in Oyo state.
The HelpMum team, in collaboration with @actfoundation_, visited six Primary Health Care Centers in Oyo state. During our visit, we educated nursing mothers and nurses about the significance of vaccination in eliminating vaccine-preventable diseases. By enhancing their awareness of childhood vaccines and their schedules, these nursing mothers are more likely to ensure their children are fully immunized compared to those unaware of vaccination benefits.
We also introduced the HelpMum vaccination tracker to the nursing mothers and nurses at these centers. The nursing mothers were very enthusiastic about the app, as it offers timely reminders for children's upcoming vaccine appointments and provides information on each required vaccination.
At HelpMum, our mission is to disseminate factual information regarding vaccines. We are committed to enlightening nursing mothers about the advantages of vaccination and confronting the root causes of vaccine reluctance. We tirelessly work towards ensuring that every child, irrespective of where they are located, has fair access to vaccines.

Sepsis is a key contributor to both maternal and neonatal mortality, accounting for 15% of all neonatal deaths and 1 in every 10 maternal deaths. Maternal sepsis refers to life-threatening organ dysfunction resulting from infection during pregnancy, childbirth, post-abortion, or the postpartum period. Similarly, neonatal sepsis, particularly early-onset neonatal sepsis (within the first 7 days of life), refers to an infection in the bloodstream of the newborn that is transmitted from the mother to the child during childbirth or in the care-giving environment after birth which is why clean and hygienic practices during delivery are crucial for ensuring the well-being and safety of both the mother and the newborn. The implementation of proper hygiene measures helps to minimize the risk of infection and complications that may arise during the delivery process.
To mitigate this issue, the HelpMum team, in collaboration with the @actfoundation_ visited Iyana Kobomoje community in Oyo state to distribute the HelpMum clean birth kit to pregnant women in the community.
Mrs. Ganiyu, one of the beneficiaries expressed her gratitude to HelpMum and @actfoundation_ for giving her the Clean Birth Kit. She emphasized how useful the kit will be during the delivery of her baby. She specifically highlighted how the kit has save her the inconvenience of having to go out and purchase the items individually due to the fact that she is already close to her delivery date. Mrs. Ganiyu extended her appreciation to HelpMum for providing pregnant women like herself with these valuable resources that ensure a safe delivery.

Vaccination is a critical step in reducing child mortality; however, vaccination rates have declined in many countries in recent years. This decrease has been associated with an increase in the outbreak of vaccine-preventable diseases. In 2018, it was estimated that immunization prevented 2 to 3 million deaths each year, yet over 19 million children worldwide under the age of 1 year did not receive basic vaccines. Most of these children lived in developing countries, where access to vaccines and antenatal services is somewhat limited. The HelpMum ADVISER is an innovative AI solution that addresses these various challenges by utilizing data and targeted interventions (vaccination drive, phone calls/ reminder SMS, travel voucher, and bus pickup and drop-off).
Mrs. Oladokun Mairam is a beneficiary of our HelpMum ADVISER additional phone calls and SMS intervention. She shares with us in this video how our reminder sms and calls are always timely, and as a busy mom, it is very easy for her to forget about her child’s vaccination appointment. Mrs. Oladokun shares her sincere gratitude to HelpMum for always reminding her to take her child to the health center to get vaccinated.

In order to combat the risk of infections during childbirth and improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes, the HelpMum team, in collaboration with the @actfoundation_ visited Agbongbon community in Oyo state to distribute the HelpMum clean birth kit to pregnant women in the community.
Infections during childbirth are a significant risk for both mothers and newborns, contributing to maternal and neonatal mortality rates worldwide. Maternal infections can lead to severe complications, such as sepsis, endometritis, and wound infections, while neonatal infections can result in sepsis, pneumonia, and meningitis. The HelpMum clean birth kit is a carefully curated solution aimed at reducing infections during childbirth and lowering maternal and neonatal mortality rates. The kit contains essential tools and materials that create a clean and safe delivery environment, addressing the risks associated with infections.
During our visit, one of the pregnant women, Mrs. Sofiyat, shared with our team how she was unable to afford the list of items given to her at the clinic and was forced to deliver at a poorly equipped local birth home. The lack of sterile tools and inadequate sanitation practices resulted in an infection that claimed the life of her baby shortly after birth. She expressed how this incident affected her and her family. Mrs. Sofiyat also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to HelpMum and our sponsors for providing her with the necessary resources for a safe delivery during her second pregnancy.

Today, I choose to celebrate the effort I put into everything I do, I may not be perfect but at least I wake up everyday trying to be the best version of myself.
I was discussing with my mentor today about my wins and my losses and as I was reflecting on my wins,he stopped me while I was saying that I didn't have any wins and started mentioning my small wins that I had overlooked.
This brought tears to my eyes, I had forgotten about the little wins and was beating myself up for all the losses I made.
It is so easy to forget the little things and concentrate solely on your failures which at the end of the day just makes you frustrated.
Deployment of HelpMum ADVISER!
Today we went out to administer vaccines (Vaccination drive) to children in Atipe community under Ibadan Northeast Local Government, Oyo State, for the deployment of the HelpMum ADVISER.
Vaccination programs are a cornerstone of public health efforts worldwide, playing a critical role in the prevention, control, and eradication of deadly diseases, and contributing to a safer and healthier world for all. However, the distribution of the right interventions and the allocation of resources to the appropriate populations remain major challenges in the fight against vaccine-preventable diseases.
The Helpmum AI innovation presents an effective solution to address the challenges of vaccine distribution and resource allocation in the fight against vaccine-preventable diseases. HelpMum leverages the power of artificial intelligence and data analytics to ensure that vaccines are delivered to the right populations, in the right quantities, and at the right time. This comprehensive approach to vaccine distribution has significantly increased vaccination coverage rates, especially in rural communities where access to healthcare services is limited.
The Helpmum AI innovation through ADVISER is already demonstrated promising results in increasing vaccination coverage rates and reducing vaccine-preventable diseases in rural communities. By optimizing vaccine distribution and resource allocation, ADVISER is bridging the gap in reaching underserved populations, resulting in more equitable access to vaccines and improved health outcomes.

Routine vaccination plays a vital role in reducing child mortality, yet despite vaccines being a crucial tool in the fight against some of the most dangerous diseases that affects children, there are still some parents who do not fully understand their importance, resulting in a higher risk of preventable disease outbreaks.
In an effort to tackle this issue, we visited four primary health centers this week with our vaccination tracker posters. We provided comprehensive education to nursing mothers on the significance of vaccination and the HelpMum vaccination tracker. Furthermore, we conducted training sessions for health workers and nursing mothers to enable them to efficiently use the vaccination tracker in monitoring and keeping track of their newborns' vaccination schedules.
Our efforts are aimed at promoting increased awareness and knowledge of the importance of vaccinations, which we believe will lead to higher vaccination rates and a healthier population.

Childhood vaccinations are one of the most important public health measures we can take to protect our children. Vaccines can prevent diseases like measles, hepatitis, polio, etc. The HelpMum vaccination tracker is an innovative tool created to help parents and health professionals track and monitor children’s vaccination and put an end to vaccine-related deaths.
Our vaccination drive this week involved introducing health workers and nursing mothers at Kumapayi, Olode, Kajorepo, and Egbeda Primary Health Centers to the HelpMum Vaccination Tracker. We enlightened them on the app’s usefulness, how it gives access to necessary vaccination information and sends appointment reminders when due.
Through our weekly vaccination drive, we strive to increase awareness of the benefits of vaccinating children and to increase vaccine uptakes in rural communities.

HelpMum Africa identified three different challenges contributing to high mortality rates due to lack of immunization among children. One of them includes mothers not taking their children for vaccination due to the high cost of transportation relative to their income.
