Lansing enters the 2025 season with a young roster that will need to fill big roles after graduating much of last year’s production. The Lions return just two starters on offense and three on defense from a 6-5 campaign where they went on a postseason run, but they have some elite talent to build around. Junior standout Jaxon Pollard (pictured), a 2024 first team all-state selection at DB and ATH, is considered one of the top players in the Class of 2027. Senior Aden Leftwich, who already holds multiple college offers, and senior Noah Mathis, an All-State and All-American Wrestler, will also be key leaders on both sides of the ball. Head Coach Rick Pollard and Lansing will look to grow quickly and compete in a tough UKC and Class 5A field. #sportsinkansas
