@K9Garm I have the same regrets. Same cancer. Same outcome. My Casey passed at home and even though I was with her trying my best to comfort her, it was not an easy death. I lied to her the first and last time when I told her to GO and that I would be okay. 7/2/25
@jakesilverlab@LaurieTatum2 My Casey was actively bleeding when she had her surgery at age 12.5 and she did great as far as the operation. Unfortunately, her spleen came back as hemangiosarcoma. We got 71 days after surgery before I lost her.
@NostalgiaPro Please do not consider librela. It seems like a life saver but it does more harm than good. Search Librela side effects- there are many. Best of luck to Riley. ❤️🐾
@Vaquero_Viejo I’ve heard it’s more prevalent in herding breeds. Casey was 3/4 heeler and 1/4 shepherd. I also worried that maybe it was caused by the food. I had her DNA tested for a “cancer” gene after we lost a shepherd to lymphoma and it was negative.
@Vaquero_Viejo@K9Garm I lost my sweet girl Casey to the same cancer 159 days ago. We got 74 days post splenectomy. It's a horrible disease. Absolutely no warning signs. They are fine - until they aren't. Sorry for your loss. He was a handsome boy. ☹️🐾
@K9Garm This happened to my Casey. Totally fine one day. Suffering a bleed the next. Hemangiosarcoma. We got 74 days together after her splenectomy. She was my whole heart and I am lost without out her. Prayers for you and Garm. 💔🥺
@don93167@stkirsch Our GSD Maggie was given a rabies vaccine after a run in with a rabid skunk. She was diagnosed with lymphoma a month later and gone 5 months later. I blame myself every day. 🥺
@K9Garm I had something similar. Had to watch a few videos to learn how to throw it out. Almost like a casting net. I had to check every scoop for minnows, crawdads, baby turtles, etc. lol
@K9Garm Grass carp are illegal here in my part of Texas. :( I spent hours skimming duckweed one summer. Finally gave up and sprayed it. It’s hard to get rid of that’s for sure.
@VoiceOfTheStar I’m mad they’re wearing long sleeves and hoodies and meanwhile, back here in Texas, we are under a heat advisory and the bank thermometer just says “dang”. 😁🥵
