FAME:
Fame is a dangerous drug.
It is addictive.
It is destructive.
Once you start becoming famous, whether in politics or on social media,
Pause. Review. Reflect.
The people praising you today will betray you tomorrow
Don't let clout and attention get into your head.
Dramatic Night Arrest as Police Corner Hammer Boys Leader Abdi Sebo in Homa Bay
It was approaching 10pm at Homa Bay Bus Stage when police officers finally closed in on Kassim Abdi Sebo, popularly known as Abdi, ending a search that had placed the alleged Hammer Boys leader firmly on investigators’ radar.
The arresting team had moved in with a warrant issued by the Homa Bay Law Courts over an assault causing actual bodily harm case, but what was expected to be a straightforward operation quickly turned into a tense confrontation.
Witnesses said police had already secured Sebo when several men believed to be accompanying him suddenly moved in and allegedly tried to obstruct the officers, creating confusion around the stage as the arresting team struggled to complete the operation.
With the situation threatening to get out of control, officers called urgently for backup with strict instructions that the warrant had to be executed and anyone obstructing police dealt with using every means available.
Within minutes, more officers arrived carrying loaded firearms, dramatically changing the mood at the bus stage as the reinforcement team secured the area and made it clear that Sebo would not be leaving through pressure from his associates.
What had started as an operation targeting one wanted man suddenly expanded, because police arrested seven more suspects after accusing them of obstructing officers and attempting to frustrate the execution of the court warrant.
Those detained alongside Sebo were Victor Odhiambo Achiando, Isaac Masika Muliro alias Waigo, Moses Geoffrey Oyege, Geoffrey Njore, Wesley Arnold Odhiambo alias Mwas, Joseph Kobila and Alfred Nyagiro Aliwa.
By the time the operation ended, eight men were in police custody, turning what might have been an ordinary arrest into one of the most dramatic police operations witnessed around Homa Bay Bus Stage in recent weeks.
Sebo had been wanted over an assault case, but investigators had already shown interest in him over wider allegations involving robberies, violent incidents and the deadly chaos that erupted during the Linda Mwananchi team’s visit to Homa Bay.
His name had repeatedly surfaced during investigations into the violence that left several people dead, including a police officer, while scores of others suffered injuries, including serious panga wounds, during the political confrontation.
Police had earlier directed Sebo to surrender at the DCI headquarters in Homa Bay County to assist investigators examining the unrest, but he did not present himself before officers eventually caught up with him at the bus stage.
Sebo has been described as a leader of the Hammer Boys, a group whose name has repeatedly appeared around allegations of political mobilisation, intimidation and organised violence within parts of Homa Bay County.
Investigators are now expected to examine both the outstanding assault case and the wider claims surrounding the group, including allegations that Sebo maintained close links with influential political and government figures from the region.
Factually, and constitutionally, Raila Odinga has never been an official leader of the opposition.
He has been the opposition leader in spirit, and not in letter.
Here is why,
In 1992 - 1997, the opposition leader was Kenneth Matiba.
In 1997 - 2002, the opposition leader was Mwai Kibaki.
In 2002 - 2007, the opposition leader was Uhuru Kenyatta.
In 2007 - 2013, the opposition leader was Jimmy Wanjigi. This was a bit complicated due to 2007 PEV and the coalition that followed.
In 2013 - 2027 there is no office of opposition leader occasioned by the new constitution.
In letter, the official leader of opposition was the party leader of the party with the highest number of parliamentary seats against the government.
Baba was therefore a spiritual leader, more than a constitutional or political leader.
South Africans have always been a problem that's why Julius Malema couldn't get the presidency seat because he is a reasonable man while the people are a big mess !
A video of a group of women bullying and harassing another woman in a club restroom is going viral and sparking outrage among netizens.
The woman being bullied is called Jahenda. A lawyer has already volunteered to help her sue them and pursue justice….
But too many women behave exactly like this, and it is a conversation that needs to be had.
Give them even a little power, and the moment they know they have leverage, they abuse it and make you worship them, Look at how many treat their househelps? A lot of female bosses are simply toxic, every day we see people complaining especially on TikTok…
What in the mean girl bullying is this??
This video of a girl being bullied , publicly embarrassed and recorded got me shaking with anger heh!!!! in the big 2026? Ingekuwa mimi ningekuwa nimekuvaa, nasugua hizo floors za choo na sura yako... ati jog on the spot? 💀💀😭
Human rights defenders report activist Mulinge Muteti missing during Monday’s protests over Ugandan opposition leader Kizza Besigye’s continued detention
Today is Day 3. Mulinge Muteti is still missing after being abducted. The last thing he posted on X was about abductions; little did he know he was next.
The President said that he will ensure abductions are stopped, but the Government is still abducting Kenyas
Mulinge is a human rights activist who has been criticizing the government.
Kenya Police must produce Muteti Mulinge. This is the 3rd day, and we don't know where he was taken or what happened to him.
Mulinge was supposed to lead a group of youth for a peaceful protest outside Vigilant House. Before he could arrive, he was abducted.
Where is Muteti Mulinge?
This is me right now. Two years ago I was shot during the June 25 Gen Z protests. I've been living with a spinal cord injury since, and I self-catheterize because of neurogenic bladder.
That led to recurring UTIs and sepsis. Today I successfully underwent surgery at Emory Hospital Nairobi to remove a bladder stone at my left vesico-ureteric junction (5x7mm). The fragments were removed. I'm recovering now with some pain and bleeding, which the doctors say is normal.
@VOCALAfrica_ helped me get here, and I'm grateful. But I still need medication, physiotherapy and follow-up care. I still haven't received any government compensation.
I'm sharing this because I need help for what comes next. Any support means everything. 🙏🏽

Woke members of Profit Owuor's repentance and holiness cult have come out guns blazing. They are saying that despite collecting millions of dollars annually by selling snake oil to his hopeless sheep, the Mightiest Profit has never built a school, a hospital or even sponsored a single child's education. All the Mightiest Profit does is to indoctrinate and radicalize children whose parents have already worked so hard to educate.
They are arguing that despite the Profit moving around in 100 fuel guzzlers: Bentleys, Range Rovers, Mercedes Benz, and Rolls-Royce, the Mightiest guy has never even drilled a single borehole to quench the thirst of his hypnotized and emasculated sheep. Zero corporate social responsibility. An evil man!
