A CHRISTIAN SHOULD NOT INVEST IN THE ALCOHOL BUSINESS, RUN GAMBLING SITES, OR OWN A BROTHEL.
Let me say something that may not sit well with everyone: there are businesses a Christian should not invest in, even when those businesses are profitable.
If you believe in God, you cannot separate your faith from your business decisions and then argue that anything is acceptable as long as it generates money.
The question is not simply, โHow much profit will I make?โ The question is also, โWhat am I financing? What am I promoting? What am I helping to put into the hands of other people? Does this business agree with the values of the Kingdom I profess to represent?โ
As Christians, we are called to glorify God in everything we do.
1 Corinthians 10:31 says, โWhether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.โ
Notice that the Scripture does not say we should glorify God only when we are preaching, praying, worshipping, or serving in church. Our businesses, investments, partnerships, and financial decisions must also be examined in the light of our faith.
How can you preach against sexual immorality while owning a brothel that profits from it?
How can you warn people about the dangers of gambling while running a gambling site whose profits depend on people continuing to gamble, sometimes at the expense of their families and financial stability?
How can you preach about sobriety and the dangers of drunkenness while investing in a business whose model profits from alcohol consumption, knowing that some people will struggle with addiction and its consequences?
These are questions every Christian entrepreneur must be willing to confront honestly.
Yes, we need money. Yes, Christians should build wealth, establish companies, create employment, and become financially independent. There is nothing wrong with making money through honest business.
But making money is not the highest purpose of a believer's life.
You cannot claim that Jesus is Lord over your life while deliberately excluding your investments, business practices, and pursuit of wealth from His authority.
The world may measure success by profit margins, market share, and financial returns. As believers, we must also consider integrity, righteousness, the welfare of others, and whether our activities honour God.
Not every profitable opportunity is an opportunity a Christian should take.
Not every open door is a door you should enter.
And not every investment that increases your bank balance is worth making.
Before you invest, ask yourself: What am I helping to build? Who could be harmed by this business? What does God's Word say about the activities I am financing? Can I pursue this profit with a clear conscience before God?
Your Christianity should influence how you make money, not just how you spend it.
May God raise Christian entrepreneurs who will build businesses, create wealth, employ people, and transform society without compromising their convictions for profit.
We need Christians in business, but we also need Christians whose businesses reflect the values they profess to believe.
Money is a tool. It must never become your master.

In Esther chapter 4, a young Jewish woman named Esther sat in a palace that was never meant for her. She had been taken from her people, crowned queen of Persia under King Ahasuerus, and told to hide who she was. Outside those walls, her cousin Mordecai discovered a plot: Haman, the king's highest official, had secured a decree to destroy every Jew in the empire. Letters went out. Death was scheduled. And Mordecai sent word to Esther with one hard demand: go before the king and plead for her people.
She answered with fear that was honest. Anyone who entered the inner court without being called could be put to death, unless the king held out his golden sceptre. She had not been summoned for thirty days. The risk was real. Then Mordecai sent back the words that still cut through every generation: "And who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?" (Esther 4:14). Esther asked for three days of fasting. Then she said she would go to the king, "and if I perish, I perish" (Esther 4:16). She went. The sceptre was held out. The plot was exposed. Her people were delivered.
What makes her story powerful is not that she felt brave. Scripture never paints her as fearless. She trembled, counted the cost, and still stepped forward. Courage was not the absence of fear. It was obedience while fear was still in the room.
How many of us have been placed in rooms we did not choose, a workplace, a family crisis, a platform, a season of influence, and stayed silent because speaking would cost us comfort? How many have hidden our faith so we would not lose favour? How many have waited for a safer moment that never comes?
Esther teaches us that position without purpose is decoration. Favour without faithfulness is wasted. And silence, when God has given you a voice, can become agreement with the threat. You may not wear a crown, but you may be the one person who can speak, stand, or intercede in the place God put you.
IF GOD PLACED YOU THERE, DO NOT STAY SILENT WHEN YOUR PEOPLE NEED A VOICE.
Your assignment is not always comfortable. It is often costly. But the same God who held out the sceptre for Esther still opens doors for those who will walk through them in faith.

JOINT ARMY, DSS, AMOTEKUN OPERATION KILLS SENIOR ISWAP LEADER IN ONDO
An intelligence-led operation by troops of the Nigerian Army, personnel of the Department of State Services (DSS) and officers of the Western Nigeria Security Network, codenamed Amotekun, has eliminated a senior Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) leader, Abdussamad Ohida, also known as Anwar, in Owo Forest, Ondo State.
According to Zagazola Makama, Security sources said Ohida, who was allegedly planning major terrorist attacks in parts of southern Nigeria, was killed alongside other members of the group during a surprise assault on their forest hideout at the weekend.
Ohida reportedly served as deputy to ISWAP Central Nigeria leader Abu Ikrimah, also known as Abu Uwais, who was arrested by the DSS in 2023. Following Ikrimahโs arrest, Ohida allegedly assumed responsibility for ISWAP activities across parts of North-Central and southern Nigeria.
Sources said intelligence obtained during the interrogation of Abu Uwais revealed plans by Ohida to attack civilians during the forthcoming Yuletide and disrupt the 2027 general elections. The intelligence was reportedly corroborated by United Kingdom intelligence partners.
Ohida was also linked to several major attacks, including the December 31, 2025 invasion of Ipele Divisional Police Station in Owo, where eight AK-47 rifles were reportedly stolen before the station was destroyed with explosives.
He was further linked to attacks on the SulejaโZuba military checkpoint in Niger State, Kuje Correctional Centre, Ogaminana Police Station in Kogi State, Okene Area Command and a naval checkpoint in Okene.
Security sources described Ohidaโs elimination as a major blow to ISWAPโs leadership structure and expansion plans in central and southern Nigeria, coming months after the reported killing of ISIS leader Abu Bilal al-Minuki.

The story of the thief on the cross is honestly one of my favorite salvation stories in the Bible.
Think about it.
This man had no time to fast.
No time to be baptized.
No time to take communion.
No time to perform religious works.
No time to build a ministry or prove his righteousness.
He was hanging on a cross, at the very end of his life.
Yet, in his final moments, he looked at Jesus and believed.
He said, โJesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.โ
And Jesus replied, โToday you will be with me in paradise.โ โ Luke 23:42โ43
What a powerful picture of grace.
The man didn't have a lifetime of good works to present before Jesus. He had faith.
This doesn't mean works don't matter. It means we don't earn salvation by our works. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ.
That thief had almost nothing left to give Jesus except his faithโand Jesus received him.
Never underestimate the mercy of God.
There are people you think could never be saved, yet one genuine encounter with Jesus can completely change their eternity.

For those feeling pity for Man City, I donโt think you should.
Football is money, City understood this and they gamed the system to gain undue advantage over others.
They were spending ownerโs money, masked in sponsorship deals. A spoilt rich kid haha.
Spending power is a big thing in football, in fact, newly-promoted teams understand that they have to spend crazily to survive the premier league.
So many teams like my darling Sheffield United have been relegated because they cannot compete financially. Other teams have also fallen along the way.
Villa are struggling every season with PSR, which is holding them back from scaling up. Then, thereโs a club who did some accounting gimmick to scam the system.
City fans should accept their wrongdoing and back their club through these difficult times.
For me, I donโt think they should be stripped of their titles. If these were cases of match fixing and bribery of officials, maybe they should, but they balled 11 v 11 and they were a good side on the pitch.
Many players like Robertson and even Wayne Rooney share similar opinion, and prefer for them to be relegated.
Everton got points deducted for breaching these PSR rules, same with Forest, Derby and others also got points deduction in the EFL. I think that should be applied to City.
The fact that they have not accepted their wrongdoing (a case of pleading โnot guiltyโ) and the fact that their charges are higher than that of Everton and the likes, should bring heavier points deduction and fines.
These other clubs cooperated, in fact, Chelsea confessed their wrongdoings themselves, they got a ยฃ10m fine and suspended transfer ban, but Man City are not agreeing at all. Theyโre gonna submit their appeal before this Friday.
For me, Iโm buzzing to take a picture with Semenyo and Doku at Bramall Lane next season๐๐ผ

Father, in the name of Jesus, let Your will override every plan that is not from You.
Where heaven says YES, let every earthly resistance bow.
Where heaven has ordained movement, break every cycle of stagnation.
Where heaven has declared restoration, let what was lost be restored.
Where heaven has declared healing, let every broken place receive Your touch.
Where heaven has declared provision, let doors of supply open.
Where heaven has declared purpose, let confusion lose its voice.
Where heaven has declared peace, let every storm become still.
Let every door You have not opened remain closed, and every door You have ordained open at the appointed time.
Let Your wisdom govern my decisions.
Let Your Word govern my steps.
Let Your Spirit govern my desires.
Let Your purpose be greater than my preferences.
I refuse to force what You have not ordained. I refuse to chase what You have not assigned. I refuse to settle for anything that requires me to step outside Your will.

James Robinson, Author of the book โWhy Nations Failโ, a global document on the development of nations, is a renowned economist.
Stefan Borson said that Man City will not be in a situation like Chelsea's, noting that Chelsea did a wonderful job negotiating a deal with the Premier League and ended up with an incredibly lenient approach.
However, Man City have denied everything throughout the process, and they have been found to have breached every charge; he concluded by saying that Manchester City are in very, very serious trouble.
