@Addicted2Java@EdKrassen Mexico, Canada and china are the three largest importers to the US. Orange man imposed tariffs on all three. Good luck with the inflation
Brenda the US doesn’t subsidize Canada. We have a mutually beneficial arrangement. We give you cheap crude and potash, you give us a bit of military protection. If you consider services and crude, the US has a deficit of about $40b with Canada. Considering the US has 10x more population than Canada, and the US and Canada trade over a trillion dollars a year, that’s a rounding error
@MarcNixon24 Children this is what we call uninformed MAGA. The talks haven’t started, there has been no comments from Zelenskyy and Putin wants his ultimatum of a deal pushed through. And the MAGA lot are already celebrating 🤡
Here’s the full picture though -
1. Trump threatened BRICS and indirectly India. Indian govt gave out a statement that they will not move out of using USD
2. Indian govt puts out a statement that they are willing to accept irregular migrants
3. Trump sends back people in shackles in a military plane
4. Indian govt reduces tariffs on US imports ahead of Trump’s visit
It’s clear - trump portrays himself as a strong man. The Indian govt is bending the knee to appease him
@DBurridge010@MikesUsername77@elonmusk These are research grants given to universities from all over the world to encourage research in areas that affects humanity. The Canadian government gives grants to US universities too
BILL GATES: “I’m a little worried, particularly with this USAID stuff. My foundation partners with USAID on nutrition and getting vaccines out … Hopefully we'll get some of that work back … If we don't, you could have literally millions of deaths.”
@manoj_216 The Biden administration too deported people, on commercial flights like every other country. Most irregular migrants are not dangerous or flight risks. But Trump gotta show off how tough he is, and people pay the price with their dignity
@CheriDiNovo And it should have been done during Trump 1.0. Canada also should open up inter-provincial trade. There’s really no reason for inter-provincial trade to be more difficult than trading with the US
