Alexithymia, common in autism, means that I often can't tell people I need help because *I* don't even know I need help. I shuffle between thinking everything is wrong or nothing is wrong.
I’m tired of seeing hardworking Americans get played for suckers.
Today, I’m announcing a series of actions to crack down on how big corporations – through paperwork, hold times, and scams – add hassles to Americans’ daily lives.

i am constantly one bad sensory experience or miscommunication away from a meltdown and every social interaction burns me tf out.
Amazing Autistic strategy to avoid being bullied: simply pretend not to understand. Play into their biases. Make it more work to bully you than reward.

me: Well, my disabilities are dynamic & my support needs fluctuate depending on the day (& my functioning often varies within the same day)- so yes, I am very "flexible" by necessity.
Employers: "No, no- not like that"
@commaficionado I told my MD and regretted it almost instantaneously. Her attitude changed completely and she now speaks to me like I am a child. I am in my fifties and have three postgraduate degrees 🫤
