Why am I so passionate about #neurodiversity and #inclusion ?
…about #self-development and CPD for #educators ?
The answer is because it impacts our lives to this magnitude.
When I was 16 I didn’t know what I felt was because I was #neurodivergent.
At 43 I am determined…
“He has spent the seven months since his daughter's death on a quest for answers.”
After the tragic suicide of his sixteen year-old daughter, Jonathan Scott-Lee hacked his daughters phone to uncover the cause of her death, explains @SianGriffiths6 on #TimesRadio.

If anything I've written here has ever helped you, could I ask if you can help me with something?
One of my personal goals is to get my weekly newsletter in front of even more ADHD and/or autistic later-discovered people.
In the newsletter, I provide things like
- self-coaching exercises
- how to self-coach/journal
- journalling prompts
- executive function support ideas
- latest research on ADHD and autism and what it actually means in our actual lives
- deep dives into topics such as energy management, motivation, self-regulation, and AuDHD wellbeing
- my stories from my life and how I navigate things such as perfectionism, procrastination, low energy, keeping on top of habits or finances, impulsivity, sensory issues etc.
I don't ever do hard sells
I don't bombard people with spam
Every newsletter is story-driven, comes from a desire to be useful and to help, and is written gently and compassionately.
I like to hope I'm helping people to support themselves at no charge to them in my newsletter.
Of course, I will occasionally mention products and services but, mainly, the whole point of my newsletter is to do community outreach and service for my fellow ADHD and autistic folks.
So, if I have helped you, could I ask you to sign up to my newsletter? (Only if you can and being signed up wouldn't be annoying for you.) Link:

Alternatively, now that you know more about it, it's likely you have a friend or family member for whom the newsletter could be a good fit. If you wouldn't mind passing that forward to them instead (if appropriate), I'd be very grateful.
And remember, you can unsubscribe if you don't like it, and the option to do so is at the bottom of EVERY newsletter.
Thanks for reading and for your help. I appreciate it 😊👍

@your_nd_coach This was my plan - my parents (in their late 70s) have both been completing it this academic year and I’m less sure if I will still follow this path. Eager to hear your experience
@mud_and_stars The opener was ‘tell me why you think you have adhd’ …it was just way too broad for me - my brain was trying to condense 40-odd years and frazzled
@PibblesBixley@pot8um May I ask if you get raised lumps?
I didn’t know about the link with heat and MCAS and my dermatologist muttered something about heat the other day… while I’ve been thinking symptoms and treatment point to MCAS
@lauraisnotfine@pot8um Could it be Nodular Purigo?
I just had a break through with a dermatologist after 30 years of being told to go away for a variety of reasons.
I don’t think they knew much about MCAS though (and I’m not a doctor) so there may be more to ‘find out’.
