@maybeADHdee I am _very_ squeamish, and I was able to watch just fine - only had to look away a couple of times maybe, and one of the episodes towards the end was a bit much, but still ok.
@maybeADHdee It is very, very dark. Parts of it are gory and, occasionally, cruel. There is quite a bit of graphic violence. It's not at all unmitigated, though, and other bits of it are hopeful in a way that makes up for the darkness in my book.
#askadhd for folx who have adhd and work out at home: how do you remember to exercise? Me thinking "I should do a yoga, it's good for me" usually conflicts with "I've just had lunch/dinner, I can't move for at least another hour" and then I forget
I used to go to a yoga studio and maybe bouldering at least once a week, often twice even. I miss leaving the house for sports. I know that it's okay not to keep the same exercise schedule in a global panini, but I think I really need to find a way to get consistent movement
Right now I'm in too deep to start new productivity systems, but if I ever end up starting a new writing project, I'll try to organize my research notes this way
So this requires a ton of executive function, and is thus not feasible for me and probably most of us, but have you heard about the Zettelkasten method for note taking? Basically you assign a unique ID to each note and then hyperlink it to wherever... https://t.co/Ttlxp75emT
When you’ve written so many things down in your notes app and you can’t find the note you’re looking for and you don’t want to go through hundreds of notes to find it. That’s what I call my ADHD dilemma
Also, this is a kind gesture for guests. Get both tampons and pads in different sizes, bodies are very different and need different things. If a person prefers reusable products, they probably have their own, but in a pinch it's still great to have disposable pads or tampons!
Currently I have my supplies in a box, but I regularly run out and/or can't find my cup, having a small box with a label in my bathroom is a great idea!
With ADHD you often wake up feeling like a completely different person than you were the day before, and the goals that previous day late seem distant, vague and now irrelevant.
Me (34f), an intellectual, just wondered for a couple of minutes why everything is blurry before remembering that I wear glasses. I've worn my glasses every waking minute of my life since I was 10.
I haven't been on here a lot - mostly got distracted by #adhdtiktok, but ... hi new followers! I'm Lisa, I occasionally tweet about adult adhd life. Come say hi!
