Address the facts. They did try to take out tipping culture but the National Restaurant (tf right?) Association lobbied against it because servers get better pay (same or higher amount if working in corporate) and restaurants don’t have to pay them as much
World Cup fans haven't been tipping in the United States, and restaurants are fighting back
They're now adding 20% to bills automatically, as visitors aren't used to tipping culture and staff had to explain it's expected
I don’t really watch Dr/Hospital type drama because I have bad view of Doctors - apart from saving lives they’re often egoistical, arrogant, cheating asshat and have main- character syndrome / god-complex
‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’ has reportedly been renewed for Seasons 2 and 3, with the original cast reprising their roles.

According to psychology, the urge to immediately fix a partner’s or friend’s distress instead of just sitting with them in it isn't empathy; it is your own low frustration tolerance. When someone you love is hurting, and you instantly jump into problem-solving mode, offering unsolicited advice or trying to find a silver lining, you are often trying to soothe your own secondary anxiety. You aren't rescuing them from their pain; you are rescuing yourself from the discomfort of witnessing a vulnerability you don't know how to hold.
Was so disturbed I cried in my office so this senior of mine decided to talk about Satellite and how it works (random i know!) just to get my mind off the photos and the horrible tweets
Rule of thumb: women’s washroom is safer than men’s washroom. Regardless of your child gender if there’s no baby room/family room pls proceed to women washroom, most women would understand
Dads if you need to help your daughter use the restroom. Announce yourself and 99% of us women will understand. Just like every man who has been in the men’s restroom when I’ve needed to help my son.

To Muslims who are thinking about living in Japan.
There is something I want to say honestly first.
Life in Japan was not built around your faith.
Ramen may contain pork-bone broth.
Convenience store food may contain pork-derived ingredients.
In summer, there are shrine festivals.
At New Year, many people visit shrines for hatsumode.
When someone dies, cremation is the norm.
At drinking gatherings, there is also a culture of pouring drinks for others.
This is not harassment.
It is simply the everyday life that Japanese people have built over a long period of time.
Of course, your faith should be respected.
But in the same way,
Japanese culture and customs should also be respected.
Before coming here and saying, “I want this changed,”
please think carefully about whether this country truly fits you.
Japan does not exist to reject anyone.
But it also does not exist to be remade
for someone else’s convenience.
