I was not up to 18 at all but I watched the World Cup and I can even tell you about some matches.
I watched the very first match. Germany v Costa Rica
I remembered Frings scoring.
I watched Brazil v Ghana in the second round.
Brazil v France quarter-final, where Zidane assisted Henry with a cross in the sole goal that knocked Brazil out.
I watched the final. I remember how Zidane head-butted Materazzi. This was not highlight.

If you later hear that I’ve stepped away from active litigation, cases like this may be a big part of the reason:

I have an urgent matter before the court. My client (a tenant) is facing constant threats of eviction even though his tenancy is still valid. At one point, the landlord allegedly resorted to self-help by attempting to lock him out.

I filed the suit on 14th May. Writ of Summons, Motion on Notice, and Ex parte application all filed together. That same day, I pleaded with every registrar I could find to take the Ex parte to a judge for immediate hearing. They all refused, insisting the file must first be assigned to a judge.

The file was finally assigned this Tuesday. We went to court on Wednesday, the court did not sit. Thursday, the court did not sit again. Today, instead of allowing us to move the Ex parte, the registrar refused and gave us 17th June as the hearing date.

That’s over a month after filing an application that's meant to be urgent.

This is the same judiciary we keep asking the ordinary citizen to trust and have confidence in.
