Psychological & Biological Reality

Dogs are sentient mammals with:
• A nervous system
• Pain perception
• Stress hormones (cortisol, adrenaline)
• Trauma memory

When dogs are:
>beaten
>poisoned
>starved
>burned alive
>dragged behind vehicles
>attacked by children encouraged by adults

Their brains enter survival mode.

Chronic cruelty leads to:
• Hyper-vigilance
• Fear-based defensive aggression
• Loss of trust in humans

This is not “feral behaviour” — it is trauma response.

Double Standard the System Ignores

When humans are subjected to:
• Torture
• Repeated abuse
• Humiliation
• Physical pain

And they retaliate — the law recognises:

>provocation
>psychological breakdown

But when animals, subjected to the SAME cruelty, react defensively —
they are branded as “dangerous”, “menace”, and “threat”.

This is legal hypocrisy.
The Voiceless Injustice

Animals cannot:
• File FIRs
• Record videos
• Testify in court
• Prove who attacked first

So the narrative is controlled by humans.

Media shows only the bite, never the burns, wounds, fractures, starvation, poisoning that came before.

Courts see statistics of bites — but ignore statistics of cruelty, even though cruelty is a known predictor of aggression.

Wildlife Parallel — Same Crime, Same Lie

Humans:
• Encroach forests
• Destroy habitats
• Block water sources

Wild animals enter human areas out of hunger and survival.

When they attack in defence:
>They are defamed
>Shot on sight
>Relocated or killed

The first act of violence is always human — but the blame is always placed on animals.

Hard Truth the Nation Must Accept

>Animals do NOT attack without reason
>Cruelty precedes aggression
>Abuse creates fear
>Fear creates defensive violence

The root cause of dog bites is human cruelty, not dog existence.

Ignoring this truth will:
• Increase attacks
• Increase public fear
• Increase violence
• Justify mass killings
• Destroy coexistence

What Justice Actually Demands

>Recognise cruelty as the primary trigger
>Penalise animal abuse strictly
>Protect caregivers & feeders
>Stop demonising animals
>Address root causes, not reactions

Final Question to Courts, Media & Politicians

If a human retaliates after torture, we call it self-defence.
If an animal retaliates after torture, we call it menace.

Is this justice — or convenience?

Animals are voiceless.
But science is not.

Good evening everyone.

It is with immense grief, shock, and anger that we share what has happened in the Gym area of Shankar Vihar. Four community dogs, lives we saw every day, lives that trusted us, were found dead under deeply disturbing and unnatural circumstances.

The manner in which they were discovered, one after the other, leaves us shaken. Poisoning or deliberate foul play cannot be ruled out. This was not natural. This was not random. And this cannot be brushed aside as just another incident.

What makes this even more painful is that this happened in broad daylight, within a residential area, where safety, of humans and animals alike, should never be in question. If such cruelty can occur here, it should alarm every single one of us.

This is why we refused to stay silent.

With the support of the DOERA authorities, an FIR has been formally registered, and the post-mortem of the dogs is currently being carried out. Once the reports are received, the civil police will take necessary action, and we are determined that no stone will be left unturned to identify and punish the culprit responsible for this horrific act if any found guilty .

Let this be said clearly: violence against animals is not a minor issue. It reflects a complete breakdown of compassion and poses a serious threat to the moral and social fabric of our community. Today it is animals, tomorrow it could be something far worse.

We owe these dogs justice.
We owe it to ourselves to ensure this does not happen again.

Why is the work culture in most Indian companies really bad and why are a lot of managers so toxic.

I spoke to a lot of psychologists for this and the reason for this is primarily the managers and folks in the leadership position who have the following behavioural patterns :

• Childhood conditioning that working/ being busy is the only way to live.
• Societal conditioning for status and achievement from a very young age.
• High level of insecurity, control issues, closet narcissism etc

And because the per-capita income of most Indians is not very high and a large section has to work to survive, employees are made to work like machines.

Because if they don't do it, they know someone else will do it

Also the social media pressure to succeed fast gives the managers an added leverage
to make their employees work like mad.

The Solution:
Anyone being promoted to a managerial or leadership position should only be done so after a proper psychological assessment.

If they are insecure, had toxic relationships, traumatic childhood, have control issues, are closet narcissists then while their IQ does entitle them for a promotion, because of their EQ that can only happen after a significant company sponsored therapy.

This can actually save lives, reduce stress and improve the quality of life of the manager and the people under them substantially

The irony of mental health

During clinical depression I didn't want anything. I had no ambition, no desire. Life went on.

Now that I'm fine and ambition is back I'm constantly restless. I don't feel calm. There's always an itch to do everything under the Sun. There is peace but it's slightly chaotic.

Which makes me wonder. Which state is actually better for humanity
