Animal abuse in Turkey has become systemic and structural. Members of the ruling party have repeatedly vilified stray animals over the years, while laws and policies have been introduced that undermine their protection and enable abuse by state authorities themselves.

The consequences are devastating: psychopaths and sociopaths abuse and torture animals, film their crimes, and even publish and sell the footage online, often without facing meaningful legal consequences.

When cruelty is normalized from the top and impunity becomes the rule, abuse inevitably spreads. 將寵物視為純粹的生財工具或娛樂商品，背後反映出極端利益導向下的冷酷與同理心匱乏。

為了壓低成本以獲取最大利潤，許多不規範的商業繁殖場選擇忽視動物的基本生理與心理需求，讓牠們在狹窄、簡陋的環境中不斷強迫繁育，甚至終身承受遺傳疾病與身心創傷。這種亂象主要源於商業利益驅動下的行業弊端與監管漏洞，只要未受嚴格規範的寵物市場與消費需求繼續存在，就會有不道德的業者為了暴利而漠視生命。

隨著大眾保護動物的意識抬頭，在中國及世界各地，越來越多民眾與民間動保組織正強烈譴責這類惡行，並透過舉報非法繁殖場、拯救被虐動物等實際行動進行抗爭。若要徹底推動改變，大眾應堅決響應「以領養代替購買」，從源頭切斷不法繁殖場的利益來源，不讓殘酷的生命商品化悲劇再度發生。

2026年9月1日，動物保護團體在江西省贛州市「新華加油站」，攔截了一輛大型非法狗肉車，車上至少有500隻被偷盜而來的寵物狗，其中甚至有帶著項圈的退休警犬。最讓人痛心的是，有些狗狗因為害怕不停哭泣，已經連聲音都沙啞了。

如果沒有被動物保護志工攔下來，這些狗狗接下來就會被送往屠宰場，成為中國人餐桌上的佳餚。

由於當地政府曾有多次前科紀錄，被動物保護團體救下來的狗狗，當天又被當地政府賣給狗肉商人。因此這一車的狗狗，目前都被安置在流浪狗救助基地。

中國現在一直自傲世界第二大經濟體，早已實現全面���貧。對於一直相信人類、深愛人類的狗狗，為什麼還仍堅持把牠們送上餐桌成為食物呢？

一直用飲食風俗當���藉口，我相信很難說服全世界。
