This week, I prepared a special letter addressed to the President of the United States and to Congress. And yesterday, the letter was officially delivered to the institutions in Washington. It is quite rare for the leader of another state to address both the President and Congress of the United States simultaneously with a letter. But the situation now requires action, swift and effective action.

It is important that America hear Ukraine. We understand that much of the world’s attention is currently focused on the war in Iran. But the war here in Europe must also be brought to an end – a very bloody war that is already in its fifth year at full scale.

The sooner we are able to provide greater protection against ballistic threats, the sooner we will be able to make diplomacy work. As long as Russia continues to rely on missiles, its interest in diplomacy is not real. We must correct this. And we can do so only together with America.

Ukraine is grateful to America for all its support. And Ukraine will be even more grateful for a dignified peace and guaranteed security. All of this is possible – if there is sufficient determination.

Поймите, ребят, одну простую вещь. Агентом КГБ, например, был Лех Валенса. Что это значит? Да абсолютно ничего. Вынужденно подписал бумажку, взглядов не разделял, боролся против коммунистов всю жизнь и таки победил.
Чтобы делать то, что делает Трамп, недостаточно быть просто агентом.
Необходимо искренне верить. Искренне разделять. Искренне самому всей душой принадлежать к этому течению.
Потому что невозможно никаким шантажом заставить президента сверхдержавы творить такую дичину насильно.
Не существует таких инструментов влияния.

Что вы там можете показать? Бумажку полувековой давности с подписью "Краснов"?
Ну, идите, доказывайте. Тем более в век дипфейков, когда можно подделать вообще все.

Поэтому абсолютно не важно, давал ли Трамп там какую-то подписку Пятому отделу КГБ, или не давал.
Гораздо важнее, что то, что он делает - он делает сам, своей волей, веря в то, что именно так и надо делать.

Что он сам по себе - самовлюбленный мстительный эгоистичный малообразованный нарцисс, оказавшийся на троне сверхдержавы в критический момент.
Что он сам по себе смотрит на Путина снизу вверх и сам по себе, без всяких бумажек, хочет быть как Путин.
Что он сам по себе хочет Величия, Скреп, Власти, Мирового Господства, Гренландии и Канады.
Что он сам по себе разносит систему сдержек и противовесов, демократию, международные союзы, мировое партнерство, экономику и безопасность.

Или, полагаете, Канаду его заставляет завоевывать майор ФСБ Петренко, шантажируя пятидесятилетней бумажкой?
Или, полагаете, если бы он не давал подписки - он сейчас продолжил бы дело демократов, поднял знамя Байдена и стал бы воевать на с Гренландией, а с Путиным?
Нет. Сам. Без Усамы. Своей волей.
Потому что - мудак.

А является ли мудак при этом агентом, или не является - дело уже совершенно второстепенное. От которого не изменится вообще ничего.
Он все рано будет делать то, что делает.

Не надо искать конспирологических - и одновременно простых - решений там, где их нет.
Все намного, намного хуже.

I met with Taoiseach @MichealMartinTD of Ireland. Ukraine deeply appreciates the support and assistance of the Irish people and government, as well as everything they have provided to help strengthen our defense against Russian terror.

We discussed steps toward ending the war with a guaranteed peace for Ukraine and all of Europe, the importance of unity between Ukraine, Europe, the United States, and all those committed to global stability on this path. We also talked about security guarantees and cooperation on Ukraine’s path to the EU. We are grateful to Ireland for standing with us in all of these areas.

We also addressed Ireland’s participation in the Demining Coalition and EU training missions, as well as non-lethal security assistance that will help save lives. Additionally, we discussed our humanitarian initiative, Food from Ukraine, and how Ireland can contribute.
