I get the point of a moat… to stop entrants, but if you look at history it’s the same thing that would help attackers win.
They would camp outside the walls and starve out the people inside.
For companies I think a moat becomes the very constraint that eventually makes it impossible for a company to adopt new technologies or enter new spaces.
@yctheman@RomanEcom I’d say this goes in line with copywriting right. Best thing in marketing is credibility and the messenger is in a form that credibility.
Or you can look at it as copywriting is supposed to make you want something and trust the author, but the messenger can come with trust alr
@MehtabKarta Happy to help out with this, u would use ESP32 CAM and connect it with Muse or link it to a feed that parses out the image with FFMPEG and then feed it to Claude/Codex/whatever else
Could get single item tracking then too
Boring Company building a tunnel from Long Beach to the Inland Empire so we can move containers on electric self-driving chassis at 100 mph average speed (versus ~10 mph today) would transform American logistics forever.
@pcshipp Not sure if this is true, Duolingo focused entirely on retention and didn’t innovate. Not saying they could’ve invented ChatGPT (their competitor) but you gotta be ready to canibalize the very thing that has the highest retention too
@abdullababakre It’s not a bad strategy, their goal isn’t to be cool it’s to return high returns and just following YC gives u 80-90% of YCs returns given how early it invests.
@evisdrenova My dad ran a ton growing up (50+ miles a week for 8 years) and when I got into running he said to not go over 10k because there isn’t much benefit past that. Just more knee pain.
@charbs_io@nicksaraev I think the premise is furniture companies would pay you to create this (or an automation for this) for them. The same way realtors pay for 3D mockups.
