@Selwyyyyn No idea, seems have become really famous in Bangalore weather community as mentioned in the tweet links, so wondering if there is any technical support to it
While #Bengaluru City #IMD observatory records a total rainfall of 196 mm in May against an average of 128.7 mm, the #HAL observatory records the lowest May rainfall in at least 10 years by recording just 54.7 mm for the month.

@kalai_nt@Ggk_here_ Its not even proper access controlled, half baked, poor entry exits, access control only through surveillance. During construction they marketed it as Expressway, although it is only a NH. Twitter activists who parroted “Expressway” in 2020-22 are now cribbing 🤡
@Kyangs_Thang@MapmyIndia@mappls That has been annoying to look at, so have been correcting it at times, but the scale at which place names have been vandalized is huge!
@karthiks Where is this data coming from? Ending April 10th City IMD recorded 35.4c, mostly non-radiation personal weather stations also were in the ~35.5 range
@kalai_nt
Happy to share that 'Bangalore Thindi' has crossed 450 places. I have tried each one over the last 15 years.
Anyone who wishes to explore Bangalore - this is a decent repository of Karnataka style vegetarian Thindi, Chats & snacks. Hope to keep adding :)

@ravikeerthi22 Very rare to see the statement “as models suggested” on Twitter Weather community 👏🏻
Most of them only use “as I suggested” 🤪 and blame on models only when forecast goes wrong.
3D #Map Visual of #Kerala
Most of Kerala's population resides within the narrow belt between the mountains and the sea. Combined with the climatology, socio-economic history, this geography resulted in high population density and its unique urbanization pattern.
