Excited to see @ajayj_ and team's work come out. Have watched the early versions of my brother @ajayj_'s 3D generation work going back to Spring 2021, and image generation going back to 2019, and the 3D generation is getting good ๐ฅ Can't wait to see what's next.
Happy to announce DreamFusion, our new method for Text-to-3D!

We optimize a NeRF from scratch using a pretrained text-to-image diffusion model. No 3D data needed!
Joint work w/ the incredible team of @BenMildenhall@ajayj_@jon_barron#dreamfusion
I am very excited that our work applying approximate computing to the Google TPU won the best paper at MLArchSys@ISCA2021!
Our talk is today at 10:15am PT at #ISCA https://t.co/Lciv1Ifmrs
What if your IDE crashed with specific variable names? ๐ฑ #ML4Code is powerful, but models like BERT are sensitive to adversarial code edits, performing worse than random guessing! We find that contrastive learning is more robust. Check out ContraCode: https://t.co/VSjd9BdBd7 ๐
@johncutlefish Having a โno meeting weekโ around popular times like next week (Easter, spring break for kids) has worked well. Knowing there arenโt meetings and that others are taking PTO helps.
@blakeir I donโt buy things very often and my first subconscious thought when I saw this was โI want to collect โem all.โ Potentially triggered because these icons look like digital goods vs. real items.
@_dte @nrrrdcore This is so sick!!! Iโm not into nail art but the UX makes me want to try it ๐
Btw it reminds me of this project by former Dropboxers Renuka and Aaron (sadly couldnโt find them on Twitter) - a manicure robot:

At Dropbox one time I manually covered the candy jar near my desk with printer paper โ it lasted 3 days and confused the hell out of the staff who refilled the snacks. Nice to see actual experimental validation though.
Google's NYC office ran an experiment:
- Version A: put M&Ms out in the open
- Version B: put M&Ms in opaque containers
People ate 3 million! fewer calories in a single month in version B

@domm Iโm more shook that LI has already started testing ads for LI stories โ way way too early for that ecosystem to have ads. Not enough supply yet at least anecdotally.
@javaamonde@_tessr @rosa_clare This is awesome! I just stumbled upon this tweet and didn't know the story -- but my team at work just ordered these pottery kits for everyone, for a remote team event. Even more excited now to play with this kit!
Saw this Barbie that teaches meditation, in a holiday gift guide. Cool to see meditation starting to become more mainstream and efforts starting to target kids.

@henrikberggren The instagram profile with a linktree link is the new manifestation, but itโs so flat.
Whatโs missing in https://t.co/aZzkmh0c7q though? Just that itโs not cool anymore?
