@brendt_gd If the RFC was rejected, do you think a PHPDoc standard published and owned by the Foundation would solve the frustrations of different tools having slight variations?
I know you've tried to get vendors to agree before - maybe it being dictated from "on high" would succeed?
@LeekBuildSoc I'm trying to open an account, but every time I email from my Gmail address, your mail server rejects it with "554 Email rejected due to security policies". It seems to work with a different email host - is there a known issue with Gmail, for future comms?
@jack_the_scho We had an easy time for 4 months - he'd wake maybe once in the night, and occasionally went right through. 4 months hit, and ever since he basically wakes up every 2/3 hours through the day and night, which is... less fun...
I've got a few elePHPants to give away again! π₯°
Like π & Retweet π to win one π₯
I have several to give away, and will be picking a winner next week! π
@janedbal@VotrubaT@phpstan It's already on 300 - it just doesn't feel like the right solution to keep increasing it!!
(we are actively trying to improve code to make it quicker to analyse, but I'm looking around for other solutions that might help in the meantime as well!)
@janedbal@VotrubaT@phpstan I would also love to try this - at the moment, running PHPStan is taking me >10 minutes, if it even finishes at all without child process timeouts π’
@Realitsthefeds@createstreets It is very ugly - the only redeeming feature is that if you're on a bike and can stick to it, it stops your teeth getting rattled out π
@phpstan@markusstaab If I was to split my config into two (so half the paths are analysed in each, but all files are scanned in both) and run them in parallel in CI (presumably taking less time than scanning the whole project), would I have any issues?
@VotrubaT This is fun! How do you change the memory limit for running it - I've run
php -d memory_limit=-1 vendor/bin/phpstan-bodyscan
but I'm getting "<error>Child process error</error> (exit code 255): PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted" errors
@AdamMerrivale What's the difference between a dirty bus stop and a lobster with breast implants?
One's a crusty bus station, and the other's a busty crustacean.
