@IoanaA_Cristea Manuscripts can be resubmitted from scratch after revisions to artificially decrease median processing times. The real problem is having so many guest editors that need to attract at least n papers for their special issue to succeed, be it mdpi, frontiers or other publisher.
@IoanaA_Cristea@BallouxFrancois Or maybe there are two types of coronavirus, one being of higher mortality that the other? The more "intense" one could get a lower chance of spreading due to the fact that people who had it were isolated in the intensive care departments
Was a great opportunity to get in touch with @Derek_Pisner and PyNets team at #OHBMHackathon. Check out this amazing post-processing workflow for structural and functional brain #networks: https://t.co/tJMfm7YhQM!
Interdiciplinarity is taking over science, we find in Nature 150 Anniversary Issue. We investigated the evolution of multidisciplinary, interdisciplinarity and crossdiciplinarity since 1900. Insights below, paper: https://t.co/Pw33WfP9QY, TNX @AlexGates, @kekeld, @onurvarol.

Hey grad students, before you join a lab, don’t just go by the papers they publish. Do your best to see if the work culture fits with you. Meet as many lab members as possible, not just the PI, and ask about him/her. Who knows? I might be a complete a#%hole and just not know it!
Ten years ago today, at a TED conference, a neuroscientist claimed that he could simulate the human brain in ten years. And, er, that didn’t happen. Here’s a look at why, and whether the goal even makes any sense. https://t.co/V4Sx7EKcJa
Belated tweet 2: Thanks @OHBM@OHBM_Trainees@OHBM_BrainArt for the best conference experience ever! I had a great time talking about my work and open science, learnt a lot, and I have new friends! Looking forward to Montréal #OHBM2020!!
After 1 week of #afni bootcamp, one of #OHBM2019, yet another episodes of sleep deprivation starts today with the #complexity72h. 72h challenge for submitting a paper on #arcXiv accepted!
