Honestly shouldn’t be surprised by this, but my @MedCouncilCan part 2 exam was voided at 3 min left on my clock...at 4 pm...because an SP and an examiner didn’t show up in two separate stations. The solution? I have to write the entire 7 hour exam again at a later date.

I cannot see a situation where some degree of ICU triage does not happen in Ontario.

Demand will outstrip supply of staffed beds.

In addition to being cruel and unfair to our future patients, this will break the back of healthcare workers.

Ontario urgently needs ICU RNs and other trained healthcare workers to staff the beds we have on paper.

To avoid a triage situation @ongov & ⁦@fordnation⁩ need to work with other Premiers with oversight by ⁦@JustinTrudeau⁩ to reallocate healthcare workers ASAP.
