How do you solve the distribution problem? I was banned from Reddit AGAIN. 🙄 I've replied to comments with links to my product because people were looking for exactly that. Appealing doesn't make any difference…
Someone just stole £397 from my card.
I use https://t.co/wHe8DDUCPg and have it connected to my @monzo flex account with quite a high limit.
They made a £397.66 transaction at @awscloud. I’ve never made a payment at AWS before, so I’m surprised the Curve security didn’t kick in to ask me to confirm or approve it.
They tried making another transaction with the same amount, but Monzo blocked it.
I’ve frozen my cards and reported this as fraud to both Monzo and Curve.
I’m surprised this has happened to me because I’m one of the people who are extra careful when it comes to online payments. I always pay with Apple Pay where possible and never input my card details on dodgy sites.
Also, I never click any of the phishing links received by email or SMS. Like I can smell all of these and always report, yet somehow my card was compromised.
I never carry the physical card with me; it’s always at home in a safe place. Also, it was just renewed in May this year, so it’s quite new.
@task_davide@clerk I think I've seen some other companies moving in the same direction.
I also love companies that provide _skills_ that you can use for their best practices and whatnot.
Just heard that after 12+ years of being a customer, Uber is finally dumping PagerDuty.
PagerDuty used to be the leading paging + incident management tool, went public, then fell asleep at the wheel when Slack came around, then AI. Now everyone tech company I know is moving off.
https://t.co/2tbLq6hSOX support via the app is not the best. I've tried contacting them about an unrecognised transaction and every time I was prompted with this automatic message that I need to "report" a transaction via the timeline, which is exactly what I did to get there. I had to select a different support category to be able to chat to someone.
@TeradataT@monzo@awscloud Customer support told me yesterday that the relevant team would contact me to get this sorted, but no one has, 24 hours later. I’ve filled in a Fraud Dispute Form on their website to hopefully speed up this process. At the moment, I can’t use my Curve card. 😫
Ohh and somehow my reply with the actual website link got fewer views than the one where I replied that I built the same thing.
Maybe Reddit hides comments with links?
