RM3B+ leaves Malaysia on day one for servers, chips, cooling gear. The "GDP boost" is mostly a transfer to Intel, Nvidia & TSMC. We're not building a digital economy = we're subsidizing someone else's.

100 permanent jobs. That's RM50M per job. A RM5B auto plant creates 5,000+. The math isn't hard. The lobbyists just hope you don't do it.

10-15 year tax holiday. Pioneer Status. REIT structure. The operator pays almost no corporate tax. So who benefits? Hint: not the Treasury. And if electricity is subsidized, Malaysians are paying a foreign firm to park servers here.

"It'll attract AI labs & startups!" Show me one country where a data center cluster alone spawned a tech ecosystem. You need universities, talent, venture capital, IP regime. A server farm is not a Silicon Valley.

Same RM5B in green energy : 10-50x the jobs, real supply chains, actual skills transfer, tax revenue. Data centers are the lazy option for policymakers who want a headline, not an economy.

RM5B data center:
• 50-70% imported
• 100 jobs
• 15 years tax-free
• Massive power draw
• Zero tech transfer

Call it what it is: a real estate play dressed up as industrial policy.

We are being bled dry, and the most infuriating part is that our own leaders are holding the door open. Too many Malaysians are willing to accept short-term bribes during election cycles at the expense of our nation's long-term future security.

The data center "boom" in Johor is not a technological miracle for Malaysia, it is a massive, unchecked extraction of our most vital resources by foreign corporations. And it is happening because the political establishment has completely sold us out.

Let’s be absolutely clear, BN, PN, and PH all share the blame for this. While they bicker publicly over optics and power, they are remarkably united when it comes to quietly rubber-stamping the destruction of our infrastructure. Corrupt and complacent politicians across the entire political spectrum have prioritized flashy "Foreign Direct Investment" headlines over the survival and well-being of the Malaysian people.

The Great Sell-Out

They are handing over our national sovereignty, one server farm at a time, for an outrageously bad deal:
We give them our grid: Politicians are allowing these tech giants to consume up to 40% of Johor's electricity, locking us into dirty fossil fuels and undermining our climate goals. And when the billions required for grid upgrades come due, it will be ordinary Malaysians who pay the price through skyrocketing utility tariffs.

We give them our water: While the government warns everyday citizens about impending droughts, they are signing off on facilities that will guzzle 445 million liters of water a day. We face the very real threat of water rationing just to keep Silicon Valley's servers from overheating.

We get nothing in return: They burn our resources and pollute our neighborhoods with deafening, 24/7 industrial noise, all to create a pathetic 30 to 60 permanent jobs per facility.

The tech giants bypass local
environmental protections because politicians, eager for kickbacks, corporate favor, or cheap political wins deliberately exploit loopholes to grant them approvals meant for small local businesses.

Why "Bersama Malaysia" Is the Only Answer.

This is exactly why a true Bersama Malaysia movement is non-negotiable. We cannot rely on the current political establishment to protect us.

Whether they wear the blue of BN, the green of PN, or the red of PH, their track record proves their ultimate loyalty is to the highest corporate bidder, not to the citizens of Johor or Malaysia. They have proven they will happily subsidize the physical footprint of global AI empires with our public utilities.

Bersama Malaysia must be formed to draw a hard, uncompromising line. It is a necessary uprising of ordinary citizens to say, "Enough."

We need a united front that cuts across their political theater to demand total accountability. No more secret deals. No more sacrificing our reservoirs and our peace for foreign data. We have to bypass the corrupt politicians who sold our future and fight together to take our country back.

The Morning After: What Happens When the Dust Settles?

People keep asking,

"What happens on Sunday morning if Bersama gets completely wiped out?"

It is a fair question.

The reality of Malaysia's political system is that independent third forces are often crushed. Come July 12, we might wake up to zero seats and 15 lost deposits. Or, we might wake up having pulled off the biggest political upset of the decade by winning an urban stronghold or even triggering a heart-attack moment if an UMNO-BN seat is flipped."

But here is the absolute truth:

The result on Saturday does not determine our survival.

Johor was never the finish line.

It was the ignition.

If we win a seat, it will be a political earthquake. It will prove that massive war chests and legacy alliances are no longer prerequisites for political success.

But even if we lose every contested seat, something irreversible has already happened.

We forced the political giants to look over their shoulders. We proved that we, as ordinary Malaysians, can organize, fund, and campaign on our own terms without begging political warlords for permission or settling for corporate mafia manifestos.

So what is the future of Parti Bersama Malaysia?

We keep driving.

Saturday's election is only a 50-day stress test of a much larger nationwide blueprint. The 25,000 of us who signed up didn't join just for a snap election in one state. We joined to build a permanent and formidable Third Force ahead of the next General Election.

Starting next week, the Kancil trucks won't be parked. They will continue moving across the country.

We will spend the next few years doing the unglamorous grassroots work that real change requires listening to local communities, rejecting the toxic politics of race and religion, and recruiting a new generation of young, honest, and capable leaders.

We will build a party where our service pledges are not just election promises but a daily standard.

For decades, many of us sat on the fence, waiting for a political savior to fix the system.

We are finally realizing that no one is coming to save us.

If we want a better Malaysia, we have to build the vehicle ourselves.

And this is where you come in.

This morning, something happened that reminded me why this journey matters.

A complete stranger sent me a message on Facebook Messenger. He introduced himself as a former PETRONAS employee who now runs his own business. He simply wanted to thank me for participating and speaking up.

It may seem like a small moment, but it meant a great deal to me.

I felt humbled, yet incredibly proud. For the first time, silent voters are beginning to find one another.

Different backgrounds.

Different professions.

Different life experiences.

Yet somehow connected by the same hope.

Sometimes, all we need is someone to pat us on the back and remind us that we are not alone anymore.

After the Johor election, life goes on.

I will return to work like everyone else.

In my free time, I will continue writing about the Negeri Sembilan election not because I am from Negeri Sembilan, but because I believe every Malaysian deserves better politics, regardless of where they live.

The real battle is still ahead, and we need every exhausted, frustrated, and disillusioned voter to step off the sidelines.
