Bilingual education policies in Colombia represent government interests to keep up with the globalization process, however, there is no study of the particularities of schools, affecting especially rural areas (Roldán, & Peláez, 2017). #MABASANTOTO#TyT2022
@EricaFernandaT2 When talking about faster I mean according to personal and contextual possibilities. That is explained as a global need that can be addressed in different ways with different strategies, according to Bates, (2009) highlithing culture as the back bone of the process.
Nowadays there is a necessity to promote better and faster learning. This objective can be reached if we take into account the specificities of the contexts, purposes of the learners, and culture.

@LorenaPAlfonso2 The necessity to create effective learning environments comes from all of those characteristics you listed. The particularities of a context provide the path to teach and learn within it.
@gallo_thomson The fact you mention communities as authentic learning environments summarizes my position about how you can learn anywhere. Totally agree with the perception you have about the evolution of education throughout time. 😁
@AriasIro Excellent conclusion! Culture includes all the components a learning environment has. Then, recognizing it as a characteristic and component is the first step to becoming a learning environment effective.
@TatianaVianny Totally! diversity is always present in any environment and according to that component, the educator and all stakeholders can design an effective learning environment.
@FelipeF20964265 Completely agree. All of those specificities you highlight as characteristics are the main resource an educator has at the moment of creating a lesson.
@YeiroCampo Absolutely! depending on the learning environment and the way it is designed, the learning process can be a successful one or not. Everything depends also on the learners´ objectives and the educators´ purposes.
@MeDicenMele Taking into account that the curriculum is the backbone of any educational process, educators have to create or reorganize them into realistic documents that show specificities that are linked mainly with culture.
@Claudia45756211 I totally agree. Taking into account the context characteristics is the basis to succeed when creating a learning environment. Education has to highlight realities to build up effective learning spaces.
@ClaudiaL202 Now educators are trying to transcend normal expectations in which learning environments were located just in classrooms. Then, promoting effective learning processes is a new goal that can be reached anywhere. #ULE20222#InnovativeEducation#LearningEnvironments#MABA
