@Avis This is not happening at @Avis Downtown Cape Town. Frontline staff greatly under supported and so customers are not receiving efficient service. Managers nowhere to be seen.
@Avis been here at Avis Cape Town downtown for half an hour trying to pick up prebooked car for 830. Not ready. What I’m seeing is a branch without proper management: trainee trying her best; colleagues trying to help; ancient ineffectual ICT and merchant payment. General chaos.
@Avis No manager on floor engaging with customers or assisting his staff. Saw him swan in and out briefly in his holiday shirt. Shocking abrogation of ‘servant leader’ motto on wall. I have had this experience last time I booked through this branch.
@Clicks_SA I’m sad to say your service is hopelessly slow; your online architecture user unfriendly and annoyingly slow to navigate; your overall communication is inadequate and your in-store personnel apathetic and unhelpful. You need to up your online game.
@tombennett71 And so what’s wrong with metalwork? Many countries have a dire shortage of skilled artisans. It’s elitist and narrow to think most people should be pursuing academia
12. SA is in a dangerous moment. Our choices are horrendous & we presently have the most avarice pol. leaders across all generations.Bolsanaros’s Brazil or Modi’s India are not unrealistic scenarios for SA.We are in desperate need for a positive disruption of our pol. system.
11. Our choice in this historical moment is either no energy or privatised energy provision. This is the real world choice we are confronted with and under these circumstances I would support privatised energy. Those who oppose this refuse to acknowledge our present predicament.
10. Yet we are not in this situation. The ANC under Zuma, and frankly even before and after him, has destroyed the administrative capacities of the SOEs and the state through cadre deployment and non-meritocratic transformation. This has compromised the delivery of basic services.
