JULIAN ASSANGE IS FREE
Julian Assange is free. He left Belmarsh maximum security prison on the morning of 24 June, after having spent 1901 days there. He was granted bail by the High Court in London and was released at Stansted airport during the afternoon, where he boarded a plane and departed the UK.
This is the result of a global campaign that spanned grass-roots organisers, press freedom campaigners, legislators and leaders from across the political spectrum, all the way to the United Nations. This created the space for a long period of negotiations with the US Department of Justice, leading to a deal that has not yet been formally finalised. We will provide more information as soon as possible.
After more than five years in a 2x3 metre cell, isolated 23 hours a day, he will soon reunite with his wife Stella Assange, and their children, who have only known their father from behind bars.
WikiLeaks published groundbreaking stories of government corruption and human rights abuses, holding the powerful accountable for their actions. As editor-in-chief, Julian paid severely for these principles, and for the people's right to know.
As he returns to Australia, we thank all who stood by us, fought for us, and remained utterly committed in the fight for his freedom.
Julian's freedom is our freedom.

"US saying Assange can “seek to rely upon” the First Amendment is bunk. Assange can “seek to rely upon” a herd of goats in court if he wants."—@McClellanKM#FreeAssangeNOW#LetHimGoJoe
New research published in Nature today finds that we are on track for climate damages worth $38 trillion per year by 2050. This is a staggering figure. The damages are projected to be worth 6x more than the mitigation costs of limiting global warming to 2C. https://t.co/8RJ605RaN3

"Julian Assange and WikiLeaks: the great truth-tellers of the Iraq war.
If we let Julian Assange be extradited and he dies in a maximum security prison in the US, then we will get another war, and another one."—@SenatorSurfer#FreeAssange#JournalismIsNotACrime
What’s happening in Gaza is unspeakable.
Let's be clear: the U.S. is complicit in this nightmare.
It’s time for the U.S. to stop ASKING Israel to do the right thing. We must TELL them: unless they change course, they will lose our support. https://t.co/lYYgmdU0xx
The reality is that some forms of production are vital to human and ecological well-being and should be increased, while others are a total waste of energy, resources and labour and should not be pursued in the middle of an ecological emergency.
This is what oligarchy is about. Today just 3 Wall Street firms, BlackRock, Vanguard & State Street manage $20.7 trillion in assets. These 3 firms are major shareholders in 95% of S&P 500 companies. Democracy will not survive with this concentration of economic & political power.
"Journalism should be more like science. As far as possible, facts should be verifiable.
If journalists want long-term credibility for their profession, they have to have more respect for readers."—Julian Assange

Can anyone stop the genocide?
Yes!
Biden can put an end to the genocide in Gaza by stopping the supply of ammunition. It would take only THREE days for Israel to run out of ammunition and consequently be forced to stop.
That simple
The UN is reporting that Israeli soldiers have fired at an aid convoy in Gaza along a route designated safe by the Israeli military.
Attacking humanitarian workers is a war crime.
Venir a un país. Nacionalizarse. Educarse. Hacer carrera, dinero y poder.
