RIP Taff - a pleasure and an honour to work with you at Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday. Always available and supportive through some tough times. One of footballs true characters, wish there were more like you in the modern game. Sincere condolences to your family.

@TerrierNigel That tackle broke the leg of Gordon Watson in 2 places and effectively ended his playing career. Are you seriously suggesting we want that kind of tackle on Saturday
RIP Gerry - a fantastic servant to Huddersfield Town. He put everything he had into developing the youth system and supporting the young players in his care.
Very sad to hear news that Gerry Murphy has passed away.
A face instantly recognisable to many @htafc fans & a figure who transcended several eras.
A fantastic servant of the club, working in the youth setup from 1988-2009, plus 3 spells as caretaker manager.
RIP Gerry Murphy.
Found out about this last night incredible really,@htafc would never have forgiven me but the chance to sign for @LUFC would have been impossible to turn down. Ps I’m 6ft 3inch not 2inch 😂😂
🔵⚪️ Disappointed #htafc are releasing Tom Lees. Was worth another year for me. His experience and leadership was badly missed at the back end of the season.
No issues with the other players Town have let go. A huge clear-out was needed. https://t.co/qNgeseF6kT
@Leemorris__ I think this illustrates why many new managers enjoy a good start - they have no hang ups about any players and go back to putting the right players in the right position but also use a formation that suits the players
The 1992-93 #htafc side that had a poor start to the season but managed to pull off a miraculous escape under Ian Ross, thanks to a bit of help from Mick Buxton 😉
35 years ago, George Foreman defeated Gerry Cooney by KO in round 2 of 10 to improve his record to 65-2 (61 KOs). One of Big George's most devastating knockouts.
