Meet the Kaiyani Self Help Group from Kitui County harvesting their tomato harvest. The group was supported with the construction of a sump well along the Mwiwe river stream with support by Alongside Hope and ADSE through the Integrated Initiatives for Sustainable Livelihoods.
In Kenya, women dedicate an average of 4 hours & 38 minutes daily to unpaid domestic and care work, while men contribute just 1 hour and 1 minute.
The National Care Policy aims to address this imbalance, promoting #genderequality across the nation.
