​اکتوبر 2025 میں مکمل تنہائی میں رکھے جانے سے پہلے عمران خان بالکل فٹ اور صحت مند تھے۔ دسمبر کے آخر تک، ان کی ایک آنکھ کی بینائی جانے لگی۔ جیل سپرنٹنڈنٹ کو بار بار یہ بتانے کے باوجود کہ وہ دیکھ نہیں سکتے، انہیں تقریباً دو ہفتوں تک طبی امداد سے محروم رکھا گیا۔ جب آخر کار ایک ڈاکٹر کو ان کا معائنہ کرنے کی اجازت دی گئی تو عمران خان کو بتایا گیا کہ اس تاخیر کی وجہ سے ان کی آنکھ کو مستقل نقصان پہنچ چکا ہے۔ ان کے سیل کے گرد کم از کم ایک درجن سی سی ٹی وی کیمرے موجود ہیں۔ ان کی نگرانی کرنے والے اداروں کو معلوم تھا کہ وہ ایک آنکھ سے نہیں دیکھ سکتے۔ علاج میں مجرمانہ نیت کے ساتھ تاخیر کی گئی۔
​اس کے بعد سے، جب کہ اڈیالہ جیل سے تقریباً کوئی بھی اصل معلومات باہر نہیں آنے دی جاتیں، ان کی صحت کے بارے میں میڈیکل رپورٹس اور مبینہ "اندرونی معلومات" جان بوجھ کر لیک کی جا رہی ہیں۔ جولائی کے آخر تک، سوشل میڈیا اچانک ایسے دعوؤں سے بھر گیا کہ ان کی صحت بگڑ رہی ہے، ان کے ہاتھ اور ہونٹ کانپ رہے ہیں، ان کا بلڈ پریشر غیر مستحکم ہے، اور طویل تنہائی ان پر ذہنی طور پر اثر انداز ہو رہی ہے۔ ان رپورٹس کے ساتھ جعلی اور اے آئی (AI) سے تیار کردہ ایسی تصاویر بھی تھیں جن میں انہیں ویل چیئرز اور اسپتال کے بستروں پر دکھایا گیا۔
​یہ بیانیہ کیوں بنایا جا رہا ہے؟
​کیونکہ ان کے اغوا کاروں کا خیال تھا کہ وہ ان انتہائی سخت حالات کا مقابلہ نہیں کر پائیں گے جن میں انہیں رکھا گیا ہے۔ ان کا خیال تھا کہ وہ ٹوٹ جائیں گے، کہ آخرکار وہ پاکستان کے عوام کا ساتھ چھوڑ دیں گے اور خود کو بچانے کی کوشش کریں گے۔
​انہوں نے ایسا نہیں کیا۔
​جب انہوں نے گھٹنے ٹیکنے سے انکار کر دیا تو انسانی رابطے سے مکمل طور پر کاٹ کر انہیں انتہائی درجے کی اذیت دی گئی، سوائے ان کی اہلیہ سے غیر باقاعدہ ہفتہ وار ملاقاتوں کے جو خود اسی جیل میں ہیں۔
​پھر بھی وہ اب بھی ڈٹے ہوئے ہیں اور چونکہ وہ انہیں توڑ نہیں سکے، اس لیے اب انہوں نے عمران خان کی جسمانی اور ذہنی صحت کے بارے میں ایک جعلی بیانیہ اور جعلی پروپیگنڈا بنانا شروع کر دیا ہے۔
​18 اگست 2026 کو، سپریم کورٹ نے حکم دیا کہ ڈاکٹر عظمیٰ خان اور ان کے ذاتی ڈاکٹر ڈاکٹر فیصل سلطان کی موجودگی میں، عمران خان کو مکمل آزادانہ طبی معائنے اور علاج کے لیے شفا انٹرنیشنل اسپتال منتقل کیا جائے۔ اس حکم میں دو دن کی آخری تاریخ دی گئی تھی۔ انہیں 20 اگست تک منتقل کیا جانا چاہებя تھا۔ اس حکم پر تاحال عمل درآمد نہیں کیا گیا۔
​حکومت کیا چھپا رہی ہے کہ وہ آزادانہ طبی معائنے کی اجازت دینے کے بجائے سپریم کورٹ کی نافرمانی کرنے کو ترجیح دے رہی ہے؟
​ہمارے پاس اس کے علاوہ کوئی چارہ نہیں بچا کہ ہم دو واضح مطالبات کے ساتھ پرامن طور پر سڑکوں پر نکلیں:
​سپریم کورٹ کے 18 اگست 2026 کے احکامات پر عمل کرتے ہوئے، عمران خان کو مکمل آزادانہ طبی معائنے اور علاج کے لیے فوراً شفا انٹرنیشنل اسپتال منتقل کیا جائے۔
​چیف جسٹس سرفراز ڈوگر، جنہوں نے القادر کیس میں 22 ماہ اور توشہ خانہ کیس میں 9 ماہ سے بشریٰ بیبی اور عمران خان کی ضمانت کی درخواستوں پر سماعت نہیں کی، وہ یا تو انصاف فراہم کریں یا اپنے عہدے سے ہٹ جائیں۔

Imran Khan has repeatedly warned: “They will kill me as they killed Morsi in Egypt.”

Imran Khan was fit and healthy before being placed in complete isolation in October 2025. By the end of December, he began losing sight in one eye. Despite repeatedly informing the jail superintendent he cannot see, he was denied medical attention for nearly two weeks. When a doctor was finally allowed to examine him, Imran Khan was told that the delay had caused permanent damage to his eye. There are at least a dozen CCTV cameras around his cell. The agencies monitoring him knew he could not see in one eye. The treatment was delayed with criminal intention.

Since then, while almost no genuine information is allowed out of Adiala Jail, medical reports and supposed “inside information” about his health have intentionally leaked. By the end of July, social media was suddenly flooded with claims that his health was deteriorating, his hands and lips were trembling, his blood pressure was unstable, and that prolonged isolation was affecting him mentally. These reports were accompanied by fake and AI-generated images portraying him in wheelchairs and hospital beds.

Why is this narrative being created?

Because his captors believed he would not be able to withstand the extremely harsh conditions he was being kept in. They believed he would break, that eventually he would give up on the people of Pakistan and try to save himself.

He did not.

When he refused to give in they subjected him to extreme torture through complete isolation from human contact. Except for irregular weekly visits with his wife who is also in the same jail.

Yet he still stands defiant and because they could not break him, they have now begun creating a fake narrative and fake optics around Imran Khan’s physical and mental health.

On 18 August 2026, the Supreme Court ordered that Imran Khan be shifted to Shifa International Hospital for an independent medical examination and treatment, in the presence of Dr. Uzma Khan and his personal doctor, Dr. Faisal Sultan. The order carried a two-day deadline. He should have been shifted by 20 August. The order has still not been implemented.

What is the government hiding that it is willing to defy the Supreme Court rather than allow an independent medical examination?

We are left with no option but to come out on the streets peacefully with two clear demands:

1. Immediately shift Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital for a complete independent medical examination and treatment, in compliance with the Supreme Court orders of August 18, 2026.

2. Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar who has failed to take up Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan’s bail applications for over 22 months in the Al-Qadir case and 9 months in the Toshakhana case should either dispense justice or step aside.
