VIDEO | Delhi: As INDIA bloc leaders meeting with President Droupadi Murmu concludes, Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandh) says, “I have just come out of a rather unbelievable meeting. Mamata ji is putting it mildly, so let me tell you what actually happened. First, we submitted a memorandum to the President of India. In that memorandum, we clearly stated that the Prime Minister, Amit Shah and Gyanesh Kumar had conspired to destroy Indian democracy. The President did not deny what we said, question our statements or argue against them in any way. She accepted our statements and then told us that we needed to provide her with proof of election chori. I told her that the evidence of election chori is known to the entire country. Elections have been stolen, state after state. The 2024 election, as you know, has been stolen."

Delhi Police were seen addressing people inside an Old Delhi mosque, urging them not to join the October 10 CJP protest or move in large groups, citing Section 163 of the BNSS. Prohibitory orders remain in place ahead of the planned protest against CEC Gyanesh Kumar.
The Supreme Court’s intervention over restrictions on Delhi’s trains and Metro ahead of the October 10 protest is a timely reminder to the Modi government: regulation cannot become prohibition.
As the Chief Justice observed, “Law and order is your responsibility. It’s not state property only.”
We in @incIndia believe that democracy demands both public safety and the protection of citizens’ fundamental rights. Peaceful protest is the voice of the people, not a threat to be silenced.
A confident government respects dissent; it does not inconvenience millions to suppress it.

Dear @DelhiPolice
Fundamental rights don't expire by press briefings.
The SC has held blanket Sec 163- type orders can't supress legitimate dissent. A peaceful protest against vote chori isn't a threat to public order, it's democracy doing its job.
See you tomorrow!
🚨 SOS 🚨
This government has crossed ALL limits now.
A group of students from Pune was on its way to Delhi to join the 10 October protest.
They have been detained midway and are now being taken away in a bus to an unknown location.
Where are they being taken? Who ordered this?
The dictator would rather shut down the entire national capital and inconvenience millions of citizens than allow a peaceful protest at a designated protest site.
Imagine how many lives would be affected because of this shutdown by Modi.
SC Advocate Kapil Sibbal and Prashant Bhushan argue before the Judges about entire Delhi is being brought to a standstill tomorrow. How can 57 trains be cancelled?
Advct Sibbal argues “How can this happen to my Country⁉️”.
It’s clearly visible that Modi and Shah are shaken, nervous and on back foot with resistance and non cooperation from all sides in the nation.
Chokehold tightening around their Govt.
The Emperor is so scared that he has cancelled trains coming to Delhi tomorrow!
But for how many days can they do this?
A nation awakened will find all ways to convey its message. Remember how you forced migrants all over the country to walk hundreds of kilometres during Covid? The same people will do it again, to teach those in government a lesson.
#DilliChaloOctober10
For the nation, its democracy and our future, let’s all come together.
Irrespective of your political inclinations, march with the youth to Jantar Mantar on October 10.
Vote bachega toh desh bachega. 🇮🇳
My message to the dearest patriots.
Happy Independence Day. 🇮🇳
Perhaps, after 12 long years, we are celebrating Independence Day in its truest sense. Because something within us has finally broken free. THE FEAR.
A generation that was told to remain silent has found its voice and the medium. A generation that was told nothing would change has begun to BELIEVE again. An era of awakening has begun. An era of peaceful protest has begun. And slowly, but definitely, we will WEED OUT the old, the corrupt, the incompetent and the arrogant.
We are only getting started.
A Jantar Mantar is being born in every district of this country today. A place where the hopeless will find hope in one another. Where those who felt powerless will discover the power of standing together. Where ordinary citizens will raise their voices against an unjust system.
We need to be each other’s courage. Each other’s strength. Each other’s hope.
Those in power are trying to divide Gen-Z and the young. They are saying “Your Gen Z vs Our Gen Z”. Why? Because they know what history holds true: there is nothing more powerful than a people who refuse to be divided!
They will divide. We will unite. They will spread fear. We will spread courage. And when the time comes, we will remember. Sab yaad rakha jayega. Aur tab, hum dekhenge.
That time is not very far away.
The mind is without fear now. And there is no going back.
