We have been studying poetry this term with Year 6, and they have written some amazing pieces! We are reading Holes by #LouisSachar and we wrote poems about the moment Zero finally snaps! (IYKYK). Read some of the best attached and the rest here https://t.co/9BCRlyFnjl
Hooray AGAIN!! Holy moly, "The Good Egg" is a "New York Times" bestseller, again at #1, and "The Bad Seed" is a "New York Times" bestseller, again at #2, and I'm blown away and it's totally surreal and I don't really know what else to say, so I'll just post these: ✨✨✨✨✨✨
@lisa_ancarrow@Corey_Feldman I know! I loved the lost boys reference and then they played cry little sister! Alex’s final outfit did look like it belonged on the Santa Carla boardwalk!
@jawhitebooks Just finished the book & movie! So great! I know they changed this from your book but I loved ‘The Lost Boys’ reference & that they included the song ‘Cry little sister’ in Nightbooks which is from The Lost Boys original movie - 1 of my faves! Diehard fans would appreciate it!
@jawhitebooks Looks amazing! Any developments on a Thickety TV series or Movie? I am reading it to my class (again, third time) and its still loved by all. This year I have Year 6 and we read a chapter each day on ZOOM, we're in week 8 of lockdown, with another 8 to go!
5G have written and illustrated their book based on Gary Crews “The Watertower”. After connecting with author Gary Crew we have asked questions and shared our first page with him. Great to be able to get feedback on our writing from an expert! #ThisisBlairmount
New blog post - some holiday drawing ideas! Great if you are in lockdown... like me :) #holidaydrawing#holidayideas #https://missbeavis.edublogs.org/2020/12/27/holiday-drawing/
My holidays teacher tasks... deleting emails, forwarding emails, sorting folders of resources, making piles of things to 'take to new classroom'... nothing too strenuous! #teacheronholidays#teachertasks
Happy end of the year teachers and students! 2020 was a memorable one... here’s to 2021, and for me I’m off to new adventures, after 12 years at KSPS, I’m off to Turramurra North PS on Year 6! #newadventures#yearsix#endofyear#farewell
It's report writing season for teachers! Our teachers have planned assessments for each week, and are using online tracking sheets to see student growth #assessment#reporting
