This is our official X (“Twitter”) account and will be used for the direct postings of our operations in the financial services industry. Need support with a CIFAS or other fraud marker? Give us a DM.
Asked @AskNationwide for the evidence behind a 6-year fraud marker on someone's record. For two years they refused. We forced a data request. Their own fraud file's recorded reason? "indemnity received." That's it. No proof she knew. No transactions examined. This is #CIFAS
@Revolut You have unjustly restricted a client’s account for over 15 working days (your maximum allowance under FCA regulations) alongside £800.00, requesting them to upload their documents on several occasions. Unless this can be swiftly resolved, we will be escalating matters.
@SumUp@sumupposuk We require urgent communications from you. You have unlawfully withheld a customer’s funds after “verifying” their business account, putting them into financial difficulties and distress over the weekend. Is this how you treat your customers?
@HSBC_UK Your response issued to our client confirms the removal of the CIFAS marker but upon completing another CIFAS DSAR, the CIFAS marker is still present.
Please be notified that if there was no promise to complete the actions detailed in your FRL, we will escalate.
@HSBC_UK You’ve informed our client that their CIFAS marker was removed, but the record still shows even months down the line.
If this isn’t corrected immediately, please expect further external action.
@FundingCircleUK You have recorded a CIFAS marker against our client and fail to acknowledge your mistake by brushing-off your own issues onto your customer.
Note: if we don’t receive the response we are expecting, please do expect further action as your lack of care is hideous.
@AskNationwide Despite our communications directly via X/Twitter, we still haven’t heard from [email protected].
We have now contacted our operative M.P who are looking to contact Nationwide regarding this.
From you especially, this is appalling.
@FundingCircleUK We have emailed you, but you choose not to respond.
If we are unable to have this unlawful record removed whereby it is making our client suicidal, this will be flooded on the internet and we won’t be held accountable for any reputational damages caused.
@AskNationwide They do not hold an account with you and the entry was recorded from a declined mortgage application. Please inform [email protected] to respond as soon as possible. For our clients’ info, please direct message.
99% of these financial institutions cannot be trusted to be members of the CIFAS NFD, as these members are unable to act unjust and on any impartial basis - bias is often a commonality for these institutions from animosity caused by being a risk to being the victim of fraud, of which customers they are recording to the NFD are themselves, yet we can’t just record life-destroying markers out of animosity and being the victim, right?
Unlawful penalisation for risk limitation will change, and unjust and unlawful decisions to retain records that are destroying customers’ will not go unnoticed.
@FundingCircleUK You have recorded two CIFAS markers against two mentally deteriorating victims of fraud, yet you fail to see your failing in ensuring lawfulness.
This tweet notes our escalation, and it will be made with no further reference to you.
@HSBC_UK You have informed our client that you removed their CIFAS marker, but have stated it was recorded in June 2021.
As this isn’t the correct date, please confirm that it is our clients’ CIFAS marker you have removed, and that this was a mistake on the external response.
@TheFCA in relation to fraudulent activities, we would demand an investigation of @Wise. They are unlawfully withholding customers’ funds and making it impossible to supply bank details to obtain credits held within a closed account - we hold evidence of this from past cases.
We've fined PwC for failing to report their belief that London Capital & Finance (LCF) might be involved in fraudulent activity.

@HSBC_UK as expected, and after absolutely no response, especially to our clients’ concrete evidence showing legitimacy and our client having been raped prior to the recording, our client now wishes to escalate matters. If you are able, we’d love to have this resolved amicably.
@HSBC_UK Our client has sent across evidence as well as explained the fact that they were raped and you have still not responded to their request to remove the unlawfully recorded CIFAS marker.
We have allowed patience in this matter as we thought that you were assisting our client, but that has soon stopped.
A response is mandatory otherwise please expect immediate escalation.
EDIT: and the only response from this case should be the instant and immediate removal of the CIFAS marker.
