@Scott_dLB Most place names in (say) Seoul will be written in the Hangul script, with a transliteration into Latin scriptalongside it e.g. 명동 / Myeongdong. Then you have one name that everyone uses, but anyone that knows either alphabet can read it

They claim that a governor of colonial BC made a legally-binding promise to give them property in south Richmond, and BC later seized the land to sell to others, so it's still theirs to this day *under Canadian law*

That opinion held firm no matter how bad the Biden campaign did, and ultimately was firm enough to make the Dem establishment fall in line.

@98Mikeb @souljagoyteller Biden was leading by double digits in the SC polls *pre-Clyburn endorsement*. Ultimately he won because a critical mass of black voters, who make up a massive proportion of Democrats in the south, insisted on nominating him and would accept no alternatives.

@98Mikeb @souljagoyteller Well they couldn't just make a candidate happen out of thin air. There were three candidates with some significant amount of support in the polls, all of them 75+ year old white men: Sanders, Biden, Bloomberg. Out of those three, I think they made the right choice.

@Mrsean135123 @heimbergecon Inflation is literally defined as the rate of increase of prices. If prices were increasing quicker in the past but are now increasing slower, that means inflation is falling.
