Everyone in Teyvat knows them: Self-explanatory. If these people appeared in any nation in any context, every NPC around them would react immediately, either by asking for autographs, staring in awe, or running away screaming.

A-List celebrities: People who are EXTREMELY popular, but only in 1 or 2 nations in Teyvat, or within their own cultural niche (eg. architecture for Kaveh, fashion for Chiori). Within those nations/niches, they would definitely turn some heads if they suddenly appeared. Outside of those nations/niches though, some people would still recognize them but they wouldn't be nearly as starstruck.

B-List celebrities: People who are decently popular within their home nation/cultural niche. Most people will have heard of them, but there won't be crowds of people going up to them and asking for autographs.

C-List celebrities: People who are decently popular to a small subset of people of their home nation/cultural niche. They may have dedicated fanbases but are relatively niche to the general public.

D-List celebrities: People who are popular to a small subset of people in a specific region of their home nation. (eg. Narukami Island in Yoimiya, Diona in Monstadt City). Most locals will know who they are, but they still will just interact normally with them as they haven't reached true stardom yet.

Not a celebrity: People who are simply not celebrities. Not many people in Teyvat would know who they are, even within their home region/nation.
