Hi, I’m John! I’m a L7 Senior Staff software engineer at Meta.
My weird hobby is making AI Tech content on YouTube and Substack and I wanted to start sharing more here.
In the past I’ve worked on Reels, Meta AI on Msgr and currently working on Threads.
I also teach Agentic Coding with @bytebytego for fun on the side.
Doing an AMA here to share and meet new people. 👋
@shubhporwal24@join_grapevine Hi, I'm a React dev who enjoys turning ideas into things people can actually use. Been building, breaking, and learning in the way. You can check out my work here:

Ps: Can't really trust many so-called "Experienced Analysts" out here that blabber "Open for questions/interactions", tried reaching them, nobody fkin responds to practical questions....fake ass prtenders🤣
I'm struggling with this #SQL query. I have StoreName, 5 tests (A,B,C,D,E), DateCreated. I need to get the store names & the count of all tests for each month.
Condition: If test A happened in a month or the previous month, it should be counted in the current month. Some help?
Got this as the result in the column for A itself, solving the problem for each godforsaken month, scheduling the extraction query for BQ to Sheets transfer to run every day, and, boom sorted!✨
I'm pulling in GSC data since 2pm. Built the pipeline for it and all the OAuth sh*t as well. Not even halfway down, having pulled over 9+ million rows of data when I get asked the ETA for all the data fetched!
How am I supposed to give an ETA when I don't know the end of it😭💀
