@dangreenheck@missingpagedev Maybe Godot core devs are anti-ai, but LLMs are not Godot is the next ThreeJS once developers found ot what are the limits of web browsers.
@YeeHaw_Games Man, just let this shit go.
They had their chance, they were super early in this AI generated Web games.
They made a token..., could not release it in time, then released no function.
Those guys will never make it, special not with Minecraft in 2027.
@iamarkdev@hytopiagg But why? It is not 2010 and not minecraft, we have the technology to generate stylized world without being limited to cubes.
That will be something new, this is just a 10000000x minecraft clone.
@theo_the_dev Yes, already look much better, but maybe some other font more following the style of the logo typography or but multiple 2-3 fonts can be used too, not every text need a unique font.
@Lisk Seems the advisors who told you to switch to be a token from a unique Javascript based blockchain, made one of the biggest rug in the history.
Let's go back to the roots a blockchain on Javascript!
@ibrahimV2020@jarredsumner NodeJS use V8 for JS which made by Google with the best engineers what you can hire for money + a very slim I/O library(Univc) made with very much attention to details.
@AdonisHY Colyseus is a big stepping back in performance and quality it is not more than a relayer between clients.
The above stack is the all time vibe code starter kit, dead end.
@0xGuavaGuy@AskJentoft Still, Webtransport is not a silver bullet, it is not made for low-latency gaming it was made to load websites faster.
Take that competetive shooter will be played in browser a bit wild, lets see the first AAA game in browser in any genre first.
Weβre excited to announce that Pudgy World, our free to play browser-based game, is now live.

@0xGuavaGuy@AskJentoft World of Warcraft always been using TCP transport and somehow could manage 1000 of players even in the same area, also very good in latency handling.
TCP is not a bottleneck.
@AskJentoft WASM is overrated, on a single thread not even a C code will be enough, V8 already make JS as fast as it needed for the task.
Currently the only benefit from WASM modules that it does run in an other worker by default, so we can have 2 thread with a minimal middleware.
@AdonisHY Sure, so wait validation after every release, run asset optimiser every time, not able to change anything in the client or server so wait days/weeks/forever to the team to make the changes....
Distribution. monetization I am not seeing anyone could make living from it.
