Yesterday @Kigali_Memorial, our management and staff joined in solemn remembrance to mark the 32nd commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi. #Kwibuka32
The gathering also included reflections from leadership on the enduring importance of our work, preserving memory, educating on the history of the Genocide against the Tutsi, and ensuring the world never forgets.
David Gasore, a Genocide survivor and one of our staff shared his testimony; a solemn account of unimaginable loss but also the resilience of those who survived.

During his visit, Robin Le Normand, Atlรฉtico de Madrid (@atletienglish) defender, paid his respects to the victims of the Genocide against the Tutsi and toured memorial exhibits to learn more about this history.

Leaders and Staff @Unity_MemoryRw, @RwandaYouthArts and @Rwanda_Sports, and affiliated institutions marked #Kwibuka32 in memory of former employees of MIJEUMA, artists, and athletes victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
As we close today's launch of "Strengthening Educational Capacities at Rwanda's Memorial Sites," we carry forward one shared conviction: remembrance without education is incomplete, and education without memory is dangerous. The work starts now.
