I have chosen to withdraw from my session that is part of the @CndHistAssoc As a full professor, I have the ability to do so but understand for those that do not. I've been on strike twice in the past 10 yrs and support from others is crucial. Shame on @mcgillu actions!

Natalie Zemon Davis (1928-2023) has just passed away. May her memory be a blessing, for both her family and for the historical discipline as a whole. What an incredible woman and historian.
I am deeply moved to hear we lost the best historian of our generation but also one of the kindest, most generous human beings I ever met. She influenced so many of us and touched so many lives. She will be so missed.
