Something interesting in @solid_js v2 is that their `isPending(x)` works on any signal, even a sync one whose update triggers async work downstream. The upside is that it enables colocating data and components, even when refactoring a parent that needs to know whether its children are pending. The downside is that it's not obvious when a signal is pending.

I'm not sure we'll make that bet for Qwik. I'm concerned it can make it very hard to make sense of pending states across complex interfaces and there are other ways to allow for colocating data and components.
