@LoreLodge @musamanzz The difference is in the fact appreciation is used to recognize and elevate awareness to those cultural elements. Whereas appropriation is used for self-interests and not directly acknowledging the cultural elements origins. You follow what I’m saying?

He really thinks this is somehow not blatant theft, because he thinks TikTok viewers will actually go watch the full clip on YouTube.

That’s not at all how this works, as someone who went from TikTok to YouTube. My own viewers on TikTok didn’t follow me, let alone someone else’s. I had to build from the ground up.

I have 1.2 million on TikTok, and only 330k on YouTube. They are not the same people. You are not giving me free advertising. You are stealing my hard work and the hard work of my editor and profiting off of it while I receive nothing.

This is below even the most basic “reaction” content (looking at you, xQc). This is downright theft, and you’re a bad person for doing it.

I do hope every single person you’ve ever stolen from sues you, because you’ve made it the easiest lawsuit of all time by admitting you are fully aware of what you’re doing.

So yeah, please, let’s debate this. I’ll give you my platform (since you’re clearly incapable of generating one on your own). Let’s do it.
