@darwintojesus Just FYI. The circle (halo) behind the head of each of these figures is the image of the sun god. Constantine and early Catholics wanted to show Roman citizens the sun god supported their new Christian religion. In Latin the word "halo" means circle around the sun.

@JohnHThompson You quoted scripture. Did you notice God is called "THE GOD AND FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST"? That does not allow Jesus to be God. God does not have a God.

@OzarksJon You referenced John 17:3. Read it again. In that verse Jesus Himself said His Father is "the only true God". Before you pick one verse from Hebrews read Psalm 45 then read from Hebrews in context. For John 1:1, 14 find the true meaning of "logos".

@IFFFMEISTER @DavidFish7 The catechism with its creeds does not contain Christian Doctrine. "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is PROFITABLE FOR DOCTRINE, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness" ( 2 Tim 3:16). Christian doctrine must come from the Bible.
