@PlayWindrose How are left handed people supposed to play this game? I tried changing my binds and half of them don’t work when you remap the keys. For example, interact only seems to work with E. I changed it to O and made sure nothing else was bound to O and I still couldn’t use O
@krakensupport Hello, it’s March 18 and I still haven’t received my 1099-DA. What the expected timeline for distributing the remaining open 1099-DAs? Is it going to be sent before the April 15 filing deadline?
@karbonbased@krakenfx i only made 1 transaction all year on kraken and still havent received the 1099-DA. what a joke of a company. @krakensupport@krakenfx send the form over today you incompetent sacks of shit
@krakensupport@soprano181 how have I still not received the form when I only made one transaction on Kraken in 2025? Please send it over this weekend, its really holding up the filing process
A useful mental exercise is to treat your current holdings as the only reference point that matters and ask yourself a simple question: if everything I hold were liquidated to USD today, would I reallocate the capital in exactly the same way?
This reframe strips away the psychological weight of where you entered, what you paid, or how far you are from some previous peak. It forces you to evaluate each position on its present merits rather than on the sunk costs or emotional attachments you've accumulated along the way. Look up reference dependence.
Your portfolio's all-time high is just one data point on a longer equity curve, an arbitrary high-water mark that offers no actionable insight. Benchmarking your decisions against that fleeting peak only anchors you to a past outcome you cannot change, and worse, it distorts your judgment going forward.
What matters is optimizing your decision framework for the hand you hold right now. So, are you positioned because you're biased, or are you biased because you're positioned?
Let me get this straight. You see OpenAI calling for a Federal backstop on AI capex, which they will almost certainly receive given the importance of the AI race to national security, and you get to the conclusion this is bearish for the AI trade?
This reminds me of the meme about the guy who complains the government is manipulating the stock market to make it go up, and then goes short on this thesis.
We are shifting into a world of economic nationalism. This includes:
1. Shift of stock markets from an impartial pricing mechanism into a prosperity distribution engine.
2. Financial repression of the banking sector to achieve policy goals such as lower LT interest rates.
3. Industrial policy to back winners and develop national champions.
4. Weaponization of assets (such as the proposed seizure of Russian assets held in Euroclear).
These policies will have immense consequences, eventually. I strip away all ideology or thoughts about fairness from the way I assess these developments. They are what they are. For now, there is plenty of money to be made. Dips are for buying.
@dTrypt Yeah been cooked since January. 2023/2024 was it. Need to go through another bear market for it to +EV again. Lot easier trading the big narratives (pump, aster etc) and trading equities. Best decision I made was moving 70% of my port to my brokerage in early 2025
@Credib1eGuy Agree, accumulated in the $100s range and still think it’s a good buy here at $260. Likely the best performer of the mag7 over the coming years
Mind-boggling how many times people have tried to call a major top in equities and the market just screams back ‘SIDELINED?’ as it makes fresh highs
Wrong in April, wrong through summer, wrong in September and you’ll continue to be wrong into year-end
Just buy dips — hope this helps 🤝
