As AI's role in combating climate change grows, so does its energy appetite. The surge in sophisticated tools like ChatGPT is fueling a race among tech giants like Google and Amazon, but it's starting to strain power grids. Read more in @CipherClimate: https://t.co/3bQRiNxnz2
AI-generated ads versus human-generated ads: which converts better?
We ran ads on Facebook for 28 different businesses for this experiment.
For all 28 businesses, we had multiple ad sets.
Between all of the businesses, we spent $7,049,204.24 over 30 days.
Keep in mind the businesses had different conversion touchpoints.
Some were email addresses, some were purchases, and some were even leads.
For the creatives, we used both humans and AI.
We were able to produce 1709 variations by humans.
With AI we had 4041 variations.
Just like with any ads, you remove the bottom-performing variations and you keep adding more creatives in the mix.
The end result, human-generated creatives outperform AI-generated creatives 68.3% of the time.
And the conversion rate from human-generated ads was also higher.
But here is where it gets interesting… we didn’t stop there.
We took the winning variations created by humans and had AI create multiple variations of them.
With the new campaigns, we took the winning human version versus modified AI variations, and we found that AI won 75.7% of the time.
There was a small lift in conversions as well.
The moral of the story, AI and humans can produce creatives that convert.
A human may be more creative (at least for now), but if you have AI assistance, you will see your performance go up.

Business processes aren't free, they come with costs and risks. Many Scrum Masters fall into the process trap - adding more processes to fix an already heavy and fundamentally broken process. There's a lot to eliminate if approached holistically. #lean#business#scrum#Agile
Having too many business processes is as bad as having none. The former is too complicated to follow while the latter is chaotic. Co-create processes with the teams and individuals that are supposed to drive them. #business#agility#Agile#process#Productivity#leanmanagement
Compared with people at low-trust companies, people at high-trust companies report 74% less stress, 106% more energy at work, 50% higher productivity, 13% fewer sick days, 76% more engagement, 29% more satisfaction with their lives, and 40% less burnout. https://t.co/2XW0B8hx4O

@Qantas I have a frequent flyer card, Qantas ultimate credit card and a Qantas flight in 2 hours but I can't enter Qantas lounge? What does it take? Qantas terminal has no proper café or restaurant either so I'm not sure what the value proposition is. #lounge#qantas

What would you do if you learned that 45% of your customers were first-time buyers of your product and 90% of those buyers gave up on your product within the first year? https://t.co/4WbqE2tsLH
@13cabs@scoop_id@SarahStewart_9 The last horror show started with #13cabs not showing up at all. Then another 13cabs guy allegedly did us a favour by saving us from missing our flight although it was his passenger who did the favour and apparently had paid the whole fare. Not knowing that, I was doublecharged!
@13cabs@scoop_id@SarahStewart_9 It's embedded into the company culture and the recruitment process I think, it's more common than not. A horrible company with disgraceful drivers. Last time I had a problem was in QLD, around 4.30 am and the license plate was T57646. Date is April 11 2022.
