@chase_fkc@CodexZeroTtivn Do society a favor. Go make somethingof your life other than being a miserable prick on twitter to your impressive loads of followers.
Carnegie built over 1,600 public libraries that still exist. Rockefeller funded the hookworm campaign and the work that produced the yellow fever vaccine. Those were real outcomes for real people, not JUST reputation management.
You’re mad that I called out tasteless, low-effort jokes about someone’s appearance. And now you’re defaulting to “stop making yt ppl look stupid” because you don’t have an answer for the actual point. What’s your real objection? And again, what have you done for your community?
@chase_fkc@CodexZeroTtivn Yeah, funding 25 million children’s accounts is just whitewashing. Real activism is sitting on Twitter telling people not to ‘simp’ for the people who actually wrote the check. How much have you put into any kid’s future this year?
It’s still a $6.25 billion donation of $250 cash into roughly 25 million kids’ accounts. Michael Dell donated Dell stock to their foundation, the foundation sold it, and the proceeds are what went into the accounts. Dell stock has been up massively this year, so “bad stock” doesn’t fit. Every large charitable gift of appreciated stock gets a tax deduction — that’s how philanthropy works. The kids still get the money.
THIS. I am utterly exhausted seeing these posts about her. She’s different. So what? Especially because…. Which one of these assholes has donated the amount of money they have to the amount of children that they have… or contributed really anything substantial to society/humanity/etc…..
@kirstyn_leonard@ibrycecrawford I came to yell at you until I let it settle that you were praising him for the similarities, not wishing him harm 🤣 I genuinely miss Charlie. So much. 💔
@jeharkin@rabbimandyx@grok You just can’t hate stupid people enough, you know, the ones that believe that a single group of people are the only ones that are capable of something like this and then generalize that entire group of people.
@catturd2 PSA FALL IS RESERVED FOR EARLY IN THE MORNING AND THAT IS IT. AND Florida is full… so go ahead and keep yourself up there or wherever you are in your cute little blue state you’re coming from!!
@kg8rm7r6xb@postitordont@Polymarket THIS. Why does is it that people can’t seem to understand this…. You are free to say what you want to say…. But there are always consequences in the court of public opinion.
Maybe not completely unique and I never want to generalize but I wouldn’t apply their unique positions having a “platform” to speak for the entire population. Aka applying the exception as the rule. But I only what I know from my experience and you same. My personal experience is almost never what I see online, and I’ve just never experienced this “attitude” in real life. I’m sorry for your experience though! I’m actually gay, but it’s not due to trauma or man hating. I have been blessed to have some of the most intelligent, kindest, soulful, honest men in my life. My experience with men is much more positive than a lot of my experiences with women. Be it family/friendships etc. With all that being said, my focus is on people. Toxic people, manipulative people, lazy people, narcissistic people, etc. I don’t love the idea of apply gender as an excuse for any behavior. I do however agree that biological differences are exactly that. And I do believe that hormonal differences exist aka I do believe that women as a WHOLE tend to be more on the emotional side. But I know emotional men, and I know cold women. Thank you for your response.
@youve_got_toby@TangoFoxtrotAF@SarahisCensored So you are specifically referring to “conservative women” that have a platform then? Ive never heard these discussions at all within my personal inventory of close friends/family etc. We absolutely cherish men. Thank you for your explanation.
