Russia used 150,000 Twitter accounts for Brexit
There was 45,000 tweets with the majority encouraging people to vote Leave a few days before the 2016 vote
These accounts had previously focused on Russia's annexation of Crimea, before focusing on Brexit

Want to see something fucking wild? Look at the troll-infested replies on yesterday’s posts. Now look at today’s. Thousands of views, just a tiny handful of trolls, probably even real people! The barrage of bullshit has dropped off a cliff. Something is FUCKING different! 😂
L'Ukraine a réussi à faire en 48h à peine ce que l'UE a été bien incapable d'accomplir depuis 8 ans avec ses Codes de bonne pratiques et le DSA : assainir X-Twitter.
@JamesTate121@ZelenskyyUa Russia doesn’t want a ceasefire,
Ukraine need to keep attacking the data centres, trump is panicking because the bot farms from Russia have lost their ability to force propaganda, that in turn is damaging the Republican midterms. IMO keep destroying data centres.
For four years, two Ukrainian girls have been waiting to hug their mother.
Her name is Yanina Akulova. And russia has kept her from her children since October 11, 2022.
In these photos, they are still together. Smiling, making plans, believing in the future. They had no idea how much time would be stolen from them.
Yanina was known in Melitopol as a hardworking, compassionate woman who loved Ukraine and helped those in need.
On October 11, 2022, russians detained her at a checkpoint as she returned to Melitopol after arranging for her family to leave the city. She was held for over a month in an underground facility known as “the pit,” where she was tortured and forced to confess to a fabricated sabotage plot.
“They beat me so badly that I no longer cared... I signed whatever they put in front of me,” she reportedly told her family.
Yanina was later transferred to Moscow’s notorious Lefortovo detention center. She is now held in a penal colony in Russia’s Vladimir region.
She has lost 15 kilograms in captivity. Her asthma has worsened, and her health is deteriorating. A russian sham court sentenced her to nine years in prison.
Her older daughter, Vika, is 16. She knows what happened to her mother and cries every night.
Eight-year-old Zlata still hopes her mother will return soon. She cannot fully understand why the person she loves most is still not home.
Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War and Human Rights Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets have included Yanina on exchange lists. Yet Russia continues to obstruct the return of civilian hostages.
Yanina is one of many Ukrainian civilians illegally imprisoned by russia. They are tortured, separated from their families, and punished for their connection to Ukraine.
We must not let the world forget her.
Vika and Zlata are growing up without their mother. Every day in captivity is time they can never get back.
Her daughters are waiting. Her family is waiting. Ukraine is waiting.
No sham sentence can justify stealing a mother's life from her children.
Yanina Akulova must come home.

@mjfree Russia doesn’t want a ceasefire, Trump does, why:
Ukraine need to keep attacking the data centres, trump is panicking because the bot farms from Russia have lost their ability to force propaganda, that in turn is damaging the Republican midterms. IMO keep destroying data centres.
WAIT, WHAT? BOTH PARTIES AGREED?
Ukraine says it was waiting for details. Russia hasn’t publicly confirmed it, And Russian hit Ukrainian power facilities AFTER Trump declared his “ENERGY CEASEFIRE.”
If Putin actually stops bombing Ukraine’s energy grid, GREAT.
But a Truth Social post is not a ceasefire.
The test isn’t what Trump announces. It’s whether Putin stops bombing. And nobody’s buying Trump’s lies. He continues to look like a fool on the global stage trying to save his ass — cuz he knows in 23 days it’s gonna be set on fire.
putin has been in power for 27 years. Yet President Trump demands a new president in Ukraine.
The double standard is impossible to ignore.
Ukraine’s democratic procedures are not bargaining chips for Washington’s short-term political gains. Neither our Constitution nor our sovereignty is negotiable. @SkyNews
I'm thinking this was a trial run. Put some guards by the ballot box. "We were hanging around! We didn't even know that was a ballot box! It wasn't even open yet!"
Now you can gauge the public's reaction, plus you've got plausible deniability.
It's an American tragedy.
HOLY MOTHERFUCKER! 😱
The reported Trump and Putin “diesel” deal keeps getting worse. According to reports, American negotiators discussed releasing billions of dollars in frozen Russian assets, potentially reviving a proposal involving up to $100 BILLION, in exchange for a limited ceasefire in Ukraine. And much of that money is under European jurisdiction!
Now imagine what else has been discussed behind closed doors. How much more is Trump willing to give Putin? What about Ukraine? What about America’s allies? What about the entire Western world? At what point does appeasing Putin become more important than defending the interests of the United States and its allies?
And WHY? What the fuck is driving all of this? I don’t know. Does Putin have something on Trump? Something connected to Epstein? I have no evidence of that, but the question of why Trump would entertain concessions of this magnitude deserves serious scrutiny.
Russia invaded Ukraine. Ukraine is defending itself. And now we’re hearing reports about potentially handing Russia access to billions in frozen assets in exchange for a limited pause in its own fucking aggression.
What else is happening behind those closed doors?
