Hey Laravel Developers 👩‍💻

We know that we can use the input() method provided by the Request class to retrieve input values inside an API.

However, sometimes you already know that a particular field is going to be an integer. Instead of using the input() method, you can use the integer() method.

In this scenario, Laravel will automatically attempt to cast the input to an integer, so you don’t have to cast it explicitly.

You can also provide a default value to the integer() method, which will be returned if the key is not provided in the request.
