@alpinespirits See, I don't think the Internet counts as "the grid" though. I've always understood "off-grid" to mean "not reliant on public utilities", such as water, electricity, or the sewer system. A mansion on a mountain with its own septic tank and no utilities is "off-grid"

@suchnerve I think my favorite part about this is how it's almost transparently clear that large parts of the entire show were SPECIFICALLY to set up the garnet wedding. Stevens love of weddings is probably the most explicit, sugar had that pegged YEARS in advance, SPECIFICALLY for garnet
