The internet was made for communicating scientific research and sending pictures of cats. Everything else was too far, and it has been a disaster for society.
@miaaowing I have Doppler Phase 2 Shadow Daggers n’ I think they’re pretty under-rated… plus, if you spam F+R you can spin ‘em around (they’re cheap <$200 USD n’ also fun) :p
Having ADHD, Bipolar II, and (very likely) cPTSD/BPD is genuinely life-ruining. I’m not actually sure how I’m supposed to recover from this mentally, financially, or socially.
bweh
@miaaowing I played a match of Dust II once where I communicated only in meows. Surprisingly the four randoms figured out what each one meant since I kept it consistent.
called a psychiatrist’s office 8 times across multiple days and nobody’s answered/called me back
that is one hell of a plan for a patient that was referred there for “active suicidal ideation”
Vyvanse makes me political, I just spent 2 hours explaining to my lovely girlfriend why the American Revolution was a capitalist ploy to shift power from the British royalty to the wealthy elites. She’s Canadian and I think she now knows why the U.S. is so fucked today.
in combination with being off of my Bipolar meds for two weeks my life might actually start being fun for a bit (shhh, the inevitable crash is for future me to deal with)
I’ve been off of my Bipolar meds for two weeks and nothing has changed… I’m either not actually Bipolar or the meds were doing fuck all (anhedonia still around, still depressed, etc.).
like yeah I get how everybody’s addicted to amphetamines and tries dissociatives and psychedelics; we’re all computer nerds that are battling severe mental illness in a system that hates us… we just want to poke computers with sticks :c
hacker drug culture has always made sense to me because it’s just a bunch of researchers trying to combat their severe mental illnesses in pursuit of doing what they love and fucking it up due to a lack of quality resources and mental healthcare
being autistic sucks in the age of LLMs because I have built up a habit of being verbose and crystal clear when explaining things so that nobody can possibly misunderstand me and now everybody just thinks I use Claude to write things
